Mil was a former number 1 contender for the WWE champion at one time. Feuding with Superstar Billy Graham. I heard that he was unwilling to put over talent and was extremely strict about selling moves. Regardless, he's a fantastic wrestler who is worthy of his HoF entry. Macho Man and the rest of the Poffos will have their day. If Mil said no, he wouldn't have addressed the crowd. Simple as that.

Although Mascaras deserves the HOF honor I think it is a slap in the face to every wrestling fan that The Poffo Family were not announced as the first inductees for this year. As Jericho and Foley have said, Mil Mascaras sucks and I have never seen a good Mascaras match. How ever, Mascaras deserves to be in the hall of fame, so I have no problem with this induction. Mascaras is 1 of the top 10 all time Mexican and masked wrestlers. Mascaras is like Putski or Sammartino as he did draw $ with his ethnic group. Mascaras never drew $ outside of Mexico nor after the 1970's, but he did wrestle all over the world for decades including in the WWF on many occasions.

@NewHopeist Stupid punk kid smark, I was watching Mil Mascaras suck in WCW, WWF, and WCCW before you were born. I saw his abortion of a Clash Of The Champions match against Foley AS IT TOOK PLACE and even as a young mark I knew it sucked and it was Mil's fault it sucked. All Mil did was prance on his tip toes and do a body press. Foley stunk as a wrestler, but could be carried to a good match, especially with lots of gimmicks. Cena > Mascaras in EVERY way including in the ring.

@Assassin6190 They have made it clear in the story line that HHH is still the COO, but he just is no longer running Raw. Besides, HHH almost always wears a suit now at days because he is a real life company executive. Everybody in the company dresses up for the Hall Of Fame too. This segment was apparently done for the live crowd only from what I read, as well. I am sure when Mil's nephew Del Rio inducts Mil to the Hall of fame he will have a suit on. I never saw Mil in a suit before this.

@Assassin6190 I am not really sure what you are trying to say because your typing and English are terrible. People took live videos of this with their hand held devices when it took place. McMahon himself released footage of this on the web today.  Also, every show that is taped is beamed back to the company headquarters while it is being taped, so if somebody has a giant, old, C band, satellite dish, then they can watch the show while it is being beamed back to Stamford, Connecticut.
