@MrSmellybutt True, also the oil being pulled from the ground use to absorb heat from the earths core, what it does get replaced with is ocean water. So now the core is heating the ocean water, which is melting the ice caps. The oil in the Earth insulated us from the core, now we're burning it in our vehicles etc and it's going into the atmosphere, insulating the world........

sea water has been subducted underground to the outer mantle since the planets crust formed, its what forms the greater proportion of volcanic steam. It doesnt speed up the earths core cooling. that process has been going for for at least the last 4 billion years and likely to continue right up to the suns red giant phase in another 5 billion years.
