It really sucks that there's little chance he'll appear in the new game; perhaps they'll redesign him in the future but I'm a bit skeptical with the overall reception AoD got. I think the developers will steer clear of AoD for fear of making a game that has the same rating. Which is a shame because beneath the cons there were some golden pros.

ok this is my opinion. i love aod. the story line was perfect. the problem was at the control of the game and the grafics. if we had the story line of aod the control and the grafics of legend anniversarry underworld it would be much better... i love kurtis. i want him back. i want back aod. it is my favourite game of all tomb raiders. i prefer a good story line than good grafics. i want to know what happens at the end. i like the idea of lara in love.

Kurtis didn't die in Angel of Darkness. The first time I played I thought he did. But If you play the game again, there is a extra ending. (3:47) Lara appears in the arena where Boaz died, and Kurtis' body isn't there.

Also, in AOD, when Kurtis gets stabbed by the little Boaz fly, his body, obviously, is there on the floor, but when Lara goes back and finds his weapon at the end, his body is gone, and so is Boaz, what the hell happened to the body's!? AngelOfHate14 told me that the weapon always points to Kurtis and at the end the weapon points to the tunnel, so maybe his body is in there???

I thought it would be cool to play as a different character for once, but as soon as I did I wanted to play as lara. thats why Im afraid mists of avalon wont be good because it looks like there's a new male character you can plat as. yh. it's a shame they canned the idea of Tomb Raider: Reborn because of nasty critisism. I wanted to c what happened.

OH!Eidos done two stubid things...DEAD of Lara in CH5 and DEAD of KURTIS!KURTIS WAS GREAT!Maybe too stupid to paly as he..but still GOOD!

I hated kurtis. I thought it was stupid that you could play as him. I thought it would be cool to play as a different character for once, but as soon as I did I wanted to play as lara. thats why Im afraid mists of avalon wont be good because it looks like there's a new male character you can plat as. AoD was by far the worst TR ever. She wasn't even exploring tombs most of the time!

kurtis was bad to play as because eidos forced time pressure on core and they had to scrap his psycic powers and just alter the lara gameplay to be more male

Isnt the whole point that he didnt die.I think that they were going to make a sequel but the game was to bad and so they didnt bother.Kurtis is gone for good!

man that was by far the worst tomb raider game they ever made. i don't even consider it a REAL lara croft adventure. i wasn't even finished when they released it!

Well, Core Design were going to either kill off Kurtis or let him live depending upon the fan's response. However, he apparently did have a part written for him in TR7 ;)

Where couldn't he swim? The bit where you traverse across the pipe, the 'water' was toxic and that's what kills him.
