I took mescaline.. After about two hours i intensely felt the effects described. But after around 3 hours into my trip everything just went really downhill. Everything was in sort of dream mode, and i can only vaguely remember things that happened and they didn't feel real. When i woke up the next morning i had no memory of what happened until a couple days later. My friends described me as being a schizo while reapeating the same phrases questions and words over and over again. Help?
This all seems extremely exciting and I'd love to try it, I just have trouble believe all the "unlocking" talk. I don't believe it unlocks anything or allows for deeper thinking, it simply disables your logic factor and your mind is no longer functioning properly. It's not as if we are a seperate entity from our bodies; everything, including how we think, is controlled by chemical and electrical signals in our brain. Introduce new chemicals, and new results will occur.

It wasn’t hard, didn’t jump off a building or kill myself or anything, or even have any thoughts of doing so.

idk. the last two times i did acid i had bad trips and now i think im paying for it. that was about a year ago. the first bad trip i had i was alone in my room and the second bad trip was with a large group of people but i took three hits of acid, a few grams of shrooms and two tabs of X.

I am 26 years old, have used LSD many times, and am not at all "crazy". I have masters degree in Finance and a very strong career. While I do not use it much anymore, I can say with 100% certainty that my experiences with LSD have made me better and smarter person. It allows you to access regions of your mind which would otherwise remain dormant and useless. When your brain is turned on in this manner you can to learn a great deal about yourself, others, and the true nature of the world.

You would probably be fine, but if you have no experience at all with psychedelics there may be times when you seek comfort or normalcy during the trip. sometimes this can be difficult when alone. talking to another person can help bring you back to the ground and also will reassure you that if anything goes wrong you will have help with you.
Just have to say that I have tried Ecstasy, and it's not really psychadelic but I did get a panic attack from it the first time, but I was just laying in my bed relaxed cause I knew it was just the Ecstasy creating it so I just let it pass and it was all fine, so would I still have the same controle when im on LSD? Like knowing that its just the LSD creating everything and that I should just relax?
@iSkyttens Drugs should always be taken under the supervision of someone who is either medically trained, or, more preferably, someone who cares deeply about your welfare but isn't paranoid that drugs are going to be bad for you. Be responsible and find a friend to be with you. They can trip too if they're experienced, but you want someone who can talk you down in a caring way if you get into a bad mindset.

When used properly, in proper set and setting, LSD is the most enlightening tool at the disposal of the human race. To look deeply into the most bizarre hallucination and discern the cosmic meaning of what you see is truly a religious experience, To understand life through experiencing self as infinite and eternal is ultimately empowering. To discover reality is not what we thought is life-changing.
To add to that, when people do claim they have seen a "greater reality", can't I argue against that and claim that they were just high on drugs? The real reality is the bland mundane one that we live everyday unfortunately, I'd love to have a good experience but fundamentally it isn't real. Real life is not the spiritually connected mystical one that can only seem to be achieved through the use of such drugs.

No they were perfectly sober when they told me, this was all post-trip. Their experiences were many years ago. I used to be interested in this stuff for the so called "spiritual enlightenment" that it supposedly gives some people, but the more I think about the people who have taken it, the more I think of how they seem to be fucked up in some way, be it a minor fuck up or a major one. LSD is a chemical at the end of the day, it may be derived naturally, but it's not a thing we should mess with.
No one said it should be taken lightly...at the same time...there are those who can take it 'lightly' and not suffer any harm...maybe because they are that much more whole mentally and spiritually and self confident etc. It has been suggested that psychedelics can bring out latent mental illness that would be exposed eventually... the human brain can process 60 fps, if you were to decrease the amount to say 5 frames per second, which your brain can do, under certain circumstances (Life or Death situations)
time would seem to pass by very slowly, while the time for the observer would be at a normal rate.
so the brain may be reacting to it in that sense, maybe it's trigging the brain to think it's a life or death situation.

Having taken mescaline myself I know exactly what he means about time slowing down, it felt like i was percieving and thinking at a normal rate, and I would have what felt like 10 minutes of thoughts and have conversations with my friend all percieved in what seemed like real time and I would check my watch and only a minute had passed.
With each track on the CD player we could have long and intricate conversations.
if i traveled to meet someone and have a conversation with them,in person...or if i got on skype and did it......both are valid conversations......
as it was said before....people that have fixed ideas about things...they need to try for themselves.... ppl behave like they are the authority on mystical experience....and that only a few limited avenues can help one have these experiences.....

@sickandtiredoflife I’ve taken massive doses of LSD twice and both times the trips started off very good but ended very disturbing and dark, what you would describe as a ‘bad trip’, insects crawling over your skin, people around you turning into dead people, demons, evil, rotting, decaying etc you get the point, oh and opening your tobacco pouch to a nest of red ants. It wasn’t hard, didn’t jump off a building or kill myself or anything, or even have any thoughts of doing so.

idk. the last two times i did acid i had bad trips and now i think im paying for it. that was about a year ago. the first bad trip i had i was alone in my room and the second bad trip was with a large group of people but i took three hits of acid, a few grams of shrooms and two tabs of X.

I am 26 years old, have used LSD many times, and am not at all "crazy". I have masters degree in Finance and a very strong career. While I do not use it much anymore, I can say with 100% certainty that my experiences with LSD have made me better and smarter person. It allows you to access regions of your mind which would otherwise remain dormant and useless. When your brain is turned on in this manner you can to learn a great deal about yourself, others, and the true nature of the world.

You would probably be fine, but if you have no experience at all with psychedelics there may be times when you seek comfort or normalcy during the trip. sometimes this can be difficult when alone. talking to another person can help bring you back to the ground and also will reassure you that if anything goes wrong you will have help with you.

Just have to say that I have tried Ecstasy, and it's not really psychadelic but I did get a panic attack from it the first time, but I was just laying in my bed relaxed cause I knew it was just the Ecstasy creating it so I just let it pass and it was all fine, so would I still have the same controle when im on LSD? @iSkyttens Drugs should always be taken under the supervision of someone who is either medically trained, or, more preferably, someone who cares deeply about your welfare but isn't paranoid that drugs are going to be bad for you. Be responsible and find a friend to be with you. They can trip too if they're experienced, but you want someone who can talk you down in a caring way if you get into a bad mindset.

No they were perfectly sober when they told me, this was all post-trip. Their experiences were many years ago. I used to be interested in this stuff for the so called "spiritual enlightenment" that it supposedly gives some people, but the more I think about the people who have taken it, the more I think of how they seem to be fucked up in some way, be it a minor fuck up or a major one. LSD is a chemical at the end of the day, it may be derived naturally, but it's not a thing we should mess with.

the human brain can process 60 fps, if you were to decrease the amount to say 5 frames per second, which your brain can do, under certain circumstances (Life or Death situations)
time would seem to pass by very slowly, while the time for the observer would be at a normal rate.
so the brain may be reacting to it in that sense, maybe it's trigging the brain to think it's a life or death situation.
