How to get games and apps on Samsung M8800 (Pixon)

I installed the TK Explorer, opened it, set the COM(for me it's 4), connect, and after 5-10s it says "Error: the communication link is lost." It doesn't help to set it to pc studio or mass storage, changing usb ports and stuff... Maybe it's because of unoriginal cable? Any suggestions?

@AemanAreryz connect phone via usb in pc studio mode,,, then open tk file explorer and wait 4 atleast 1 min, then click on com, it will automatically detect ur phone( gen COM4 OR COM32), make it sure all other usb ports r free

OMG THX DUDE YOU SOLVED THE PROBLEM I HAD FOR LIKE 1 YEAR! BTW THOSE PPL WHO DO NOT GET THE COM4 PART, GO TO YOUR PHONE SETTINGS WHEN YOUR PHONE IS NOT CONNECTED TO YOUR PC, AND MAKE SURE YOUR PC CONNECTION IS SET TO PC STUDIO AND NOT MASS STORAGE. HOPE THAT HELPS :)

TK file explore u wrote is driver to connect via PC & phone, is this? and when i connect my fone to PC by usb cable. it have to using idle mode ( widget mode) and when connected ,the phone show black screen with the worded CONNECTED so how can dial and somethin on phone ? thanks u a lot

Pff took me some time to FINNALY get the drivers installed/working.

Then my COM ports didnt show up, after 10 reboots i finnaly saw a COM port.

Which didnt work ofcourse xD

Then i noticed ur update and tried the other USB ports and amen! it works xD

For people with COM problems. Make sure your computer has the drivers for your mobile. Make sure you plug in your phone before starting TK. Try plugging your phone in different USB ports and try use different COM ports if available.

Have you installed the drivers for your phone?

Is your pc actually reading that your phone is being plugged in?

Try another USB port

Try just adding the jar and jad files on your mem card, it works for some people, depends on your firmware.

I really have no idea, i googled this problem and not alot of people had it. A couple of guys said just restarting the program and using different usb port and it worked.

The COM port is different for every pc. The default is 4 but its different. Just use any port that is there.

You can try putting the jar and jad files into the others forlder and install but it does not work if your phone is branded. If that does not work then you have to follow this video.

Your settings dont have to be on COM 4 they can be on any. Mine are currently on COM 6. That shouldnt matter. Make sure your phone is connected before you check the COM. If other COM's come up try using them. I have my phone set on mass storage. Tell me if it works.

it worked on mdiaplayer. i put tic tac toe in games, and when i select it, it says, please wait amoment. then it says error - a connection could not be established on that try. when i try to connect it, TKexplorer cant recognize it again. HELP!!!!!

That sounds really messed up.

Have you actually tried to see if you can add the files throught PC Studio. Install PC Studio and the drivers for your phone with the CD provided by samsung. Then connect your phone and do a file transfer normally. So it would be the Tic Tac Toe file with the jar and jad inside. Put that in Others folder and try run it from there. heinuh said it works for him maybe it can work for you if this method doesnt. Its different for people

I think the main reason is that the drivers for the phone are not installed properly. I remember i had some difficulty with the driver before i could put it to mass storage.

dont worry mate. i found another video. (how to download and install games for Tocco for FREE) they gave me another way to download games. just wned to ask you for one last thing. the iphone has loads of cool apps. can u find any good apps or make a tutoral on how to put apps in.

For now Iphone apps cannot work with the Pixon software. The video for the tocco is exactly the same. ;)

I don't get it. What I did was just loading the jar/jad file to my Pixon with the Samsung New PC Studio that is provided with the phone. I put the files in the 'other files' folder. I could just select the files on my phone and they were installed in a couple seconds and I could play them immediatly. No need to change things in the phones system.
