Did anyone notice how slow he moves. I know he's a big guy, but unless he gets that body/eye cordination together hes going to get tore up in the NBA with guys his size. When he makes his fast move to beat the defender, he does not look under control. Guy can knock down a layup though. He needs desperatly a personal trainer, get him ripped like rip or ben.

I'm an unbiased college basketball fan who watches everyone and I judge talent based on what I see, not from what others say or from what yahoo or espn says. From what I see outta Monroe, he'd probably be best suited as a SF in the NBA. He's not strong enough to play PF in the NBA. His legs aren't active enough either; he's not a high flyer. However, he is really skilled for being as tall as he is. Maybe on Golden State or PHX he'd play PF but on any other team, he's a SF.

that' very true, and i think this guy could be the steal of the draft, especially with his fluid offensive ability and rebounding, I think he would be best guarding smaller SFs, but I don't know about being the SF in the GSW system or PHX. He would be the PF in PHX if they don't resign Amar'e and as for Golden State, another year filled with injuries would mean him being the PF most of the time and maybe even the C.

Having seen some of his play I now understand why Georgetown struggle despite having what has been sold as the dominant bigman in the NCAA, he's got some serious practice sessions ahead before he heads to the NBA and maybe even some jump training as he looks to be a prisioner of gravity for a 6'11" youth he'll get killed in the middle at NBA level, and as for his outside shooting, he can forget about that junk at the next level!!

Monroe next to Thabeet would be awesome if both pan out. One is a dominant defensive player and shot blocker, other is a great offensive player. If both live up to their potential, it could be Duncan and Dikembe downlow for the Grizz.
