  • This is the most beautiful winter landscape I have ever seen. Absolutely stunning! Thanks for sharing. The sky, ground and trees all match :)

  • @dcompiler Thanks! It is strange indeed that such a dull color scheme still can be so magic. Thanks for watching and take care.

  • Nice video! I always like to learn new things and that's the first I've seen a fire lay like that.. will be trying that one here in Scotland as soon as I can.. man.. I've so much stuff to try now lol. thanks for sharing it with us.

  • @Survivalstudent Thanks! Yeah, its a nice way to cook a cup of something. I am sure it will work just as good over at your place. Take care!

  • great video, beautiful there, i have a question, your wire saw, what kind of wire and is it easy to make? very interested in that wire saw, thankyou

  • @lita9281 Thanks! The wire saw is a Commando wire saw from BCB International. We sell those in our web shop. I have no idea who would sell BCB stuff in the US but there are many brands so i guess something like it would be available to you over there. They are very cool. Using a branch you can make a bow saw out of it too. Take care!

  • @WhitetailBushcraft It is isn't it. Every summer you hope the year skips a winter and once it is here you feel the same way about the coming summer. • Great job Peter!

  • @easternbushman Thanks! And thank you for watching. Take care!

  • Great Job Peter and good to see Erica out skiing too! I have seen this stove defore and does seem to work great. Like your snowy weather. I wish we could have some snow here. It has been unseasonably warm with temps of 10c or more recently.

    All the best

    Sandy

  • @g0vqw Yes it is a very well known technique (in certain circles ;-)). What I tried to demonstrate is how well it is suited for small fires under wet (and/or snowy) conditions. Erica loves skiing especially with a dog. Heard it from many friends in Holland too, way to warm. Same here really. I mean -5C in January is kind of weird. Thanks for watching Sandy and all the best to you too my friend.

  • We got the first snow yesterday here in Bohuslän, not enough to test the stove in thow ;)

Good vid as allways, god fortsättning.

  • @Beezhunter Well, you don't have to put it in the snow :-) Saw there was quite some snow predicted for your area. Thanks for watching and take care my friend!
