Nice video! I always like to learn new things and that's the first I've seen a fire lay like that.. will be trying that one here in Scotland as soon as I can.. man.. I've so much stuff to try now lol. thanks for sharing it with us.
@lita9281 Thanks! The wire saw is a Commando wire saw from BCB International. We sell those in our web shop. I have no idea who would sell BCB stuff in the US but there are many brands so i guess something like it would be available to you over there. They are very cool. Using a branch you can make a bow saw out of it too. Take care!
Great video,What a beautiful winter wonderland environment you live in.The Dog sking looks to be alot of fun. Thanks for info! on stove/candle fire.Have a great season and be safe"keep warm"
Wow thats gods country there what a sight, Great vid as usual Peter glad to see you are well thanks for taking us along be safe my friend..........NICK
@WhitetailBushcraft It is isn't it. Every summer you hope the year skips a winter and once it is here you feel the same way about the coming summer. I am very well if only a bit too busy but hey, that is a luxury problem. I hope you are well too Nick! Thanks for watching an take care my friend!
Great Job Peter and good to see Erica out skiing too! I have seen this stove defore and does seem to work great. Like your snowy weather. I wish we could have some snow here. It has been unseasonably warm with temps of 10c or more recently.
@g0vqw Yes it is a very well known technique (in certain circles ;-)). What I tried to demonstrate is how well it is suited for small fires under wet (and/or snowy) conditions. Erica loves skiing especially with a dog. Heard it from many friends in Holland too, way to warm. Same here really. I mean -5C in January is kind of weird. Thanks for watching Sandy and all the best to you too my friend.
@Beezhunter Well, you don't have to put it in the snow :-) Saw there was quite some snow predicted for your area. Thanks for watching and take care my friend!
This is the most beautiful winter landscape I have ever seen. Absolutely stunning! Thanks for sharing. The sky, ground and trees all match :)
