cause tom is an asshole. Basically he wanted more time with his family and wanted to set a better example on his daughter. Its not that he quit its the way he quit. He bailed out of a tsunami relief show last minute and they couldn't play. Then he sat at a table with his head down while the manager told them he quit. So he started AvA and there was just cold blood. Now he is in two major bands, and is finishing up a movie. Ironic considering he quit to be closer to his family.
