@AurielsAscension I used to have "cruelle deville" hair (half blonde, half black; split evenly in half) When I colored my hair back to black, I just left a small chunk of blonde. You can go to a salon and ask for a Heavy Peek-a-boo and they'll know what you mean.

@gothicgir66 Make sure you are using professional hairspray, shampoo AND conditioner from an actual salon. The stuff from Walmart contains a lot of wax, are pretty diluted and will weigh your hair down, while professional products won't. I highly recommend Kenra 25 hairspray. It works very well and lasts a long time. If your hair is more fine, use a boar bristle teasing brush. If your hair is more on the coarse side, use a regular teasing comb. Also, for fine hair, try a texturizing spray:D
@bubzzc0la01 I'm a cosmetologist, kiddo. No it doesn't. What damages your hair is using the wrong tools and removing the backcombing improperly. I use a boar bristle brush, so my hair doesn't actually tangle, and I never come it out- I wash the backcombing out. Not to mention I get my hair trimmed regularly and have reconditioning treatments done as well. Don't speak on subjects you clearly don't know much about.
Okay I have some what thin hair and it's alil longer than shoulder length. Would it still be too short to layer but and get the real haircut or should I just keep the extensions untill it grows alil longer?

I've been growing my hair out for about 2 years and I get split ends like CRAZY. I've tried so many product lines; its really quite frustrating. (From stores and salons) I've trim the ends every couple of months but I hate it since I lose length.
I have curly light brown hair, for now, I'm long pieces grow even more (its cut layered emo/scene-ish)

@BellaVampirevenus There is no such thing as making your hair grow faster. That is pure myth. To keep my hair healthy, I just use ALL professional products (which includes a heat protectant for thermal styling) and get the occassionaly reconditioning treatment (Kenra Nourishing Masque will do the same thing at home). And make sure your proffessional products are from a salon, not walmart. "Professional products" from anywhere other than a salon are not the products they claim to be.

@nikkibooily123 Well, this video is ridiculously old.. But I USED to use extensions, and my hair was cut that way. Your hair and extensions (if being used) need to have the same cu tin order to blend well. My hair now, if I cared enough to try, is long enough where it would look pretty much the same if I teased it.
@X0jenniferdemise0X Make sure you tease consistantly (use the same amount of strokes per section), otherwise your hair will appear uneven. I also recommend using a boar bristle teasing brush. Avoid using plastic teasing combs, they're bad for your hair. And use professional products. That's probably it.
@SceneEmooTayy1 One thing that may help you out- Use even stokes. Count how many stokes you use when teaing each section and keep consistant. Otherwise it won't give an even shape.

@ashleyallena You can still tease your hair if it's thin. My hair is actually incredibly thin, you just can't tell. If it is so thin that it falls down/lays flat quickly, try a texturizing spray. I use the Sea Salt Texturizing Spray by Aquage and it really helps. Also, when you tease it- do it in a brick-lay type section so that you can't see the splits from the sections(:

@ashleyallena You can still tease your hair if it's thin. My hair is actually incredibly thin, you just can't tell. If it is so thin that it falls down/lays flat quickly, try a texturizing spray. I use the Sea Salt Texturizing Spray by Aquage and it really helps. Also, when you tease it- do it in a brick-lay type section so that you can't see the splits from the sections(:

@siah272 Then don't do it. Your hair won't stay in place without hairspray. Extensions aren't really required for it, but the majority of people look really fucking stupid if they try it with short hair.

@TheDollandFradoodle Probably. I usually used five tracks when I used to do my hair like that. So I don't see why adding another would hurt. I suppose it just depends on how thick your hair is.
