  • sweet mary piecrust! why does religion always cause arguments? can't people just politely acknowledge the faiths of others and agree that this song is awesome. god would love that. peace to all. x

  • just enjoy the song and don't argue about religion. you're obviously never going to agree. so just enjoy it instead of stressing.

  • So beautiful <3

  • Only a brilliant man could truly reflect the beauty of God in such a simple song; this is amazing!!

  • The message of love persists in this one. God is good!

  • I'm an Atheist and even I think this song rules, it's just good music, plan and simple

  • I haven't heard a spiritual song this honest and artistic in a long, long time. The typical "contemporary Christian" fare that's played in most churches today pales in comparison.

  • @nubbs john 4:22: salvation is OF the Jews. Not for. In the NLT it actually says " salvation comes THROUGH the jews." Of course salvation comes through the jews, because the jews believe in jesus' father, they are alread on the right track, but they reject him, thus, salvation if made for everyone who believes, as it God had planned from the beginning.

  • beautiful song!!

  • It's just a catchy song period. The melodies of the layered instruments are clever. Awkward tune rhythmically. But it all comes together.

  • Hey, pause the flame war for a second;

Thumbs up if you noticed the hook from "Chicago" from 1:58-2:16

  • There is only one truth in this dimension:the absence of a god, or other divine being, such a belief in this era is proof that humanity still has a very long path to walk and many are too blinded by their own eyes to see such.

  • @ProyectMooneJazzers That is not the "one truth", that is your OPINION. By claiming that your opinion is the only right one you're just as blind as those you criticize. I'm not an atheist, but I have many friends who are. I respect their views, and they respect mine. None of us, me nor my atheist friends, are arrogant or deluded enough to think we have all the answers, and we're open minded enough to listen to other people's opinions and beliefs. You also have a very long path to walk.

  • @skylarstarenglish

I will not answer to you as fighting over comments on YouTube is something I disapprove. If you want to have a theological discussion I suggest you send me a message with a video where you state your arguments. I then shall see if you are worthy of my words.

  • @skylarstarenglish can you honestly say that there is no such thing as absolute truth? i don't mean to be confrontational at all, i just want you to honestly reflect on that.

  • @jennpetriebug1217 well like im not into religion but its a good song. like i dont like milk but i like ice cream

  • @veronica1095 your not very religious but your still a little

  • @HL147oN eeeh i'd say a little les than a little

  • @veronica1095 ....yeah I agree...

  • @nubbs

Jesus is not comparing gentiles to dogs or slaves, but simply speaking in words that the people he was talking to would understand. Also, you appear to be completely missing galations 3 : 28 where paul says the there is no difference between Jew nor gentile (some translations "greek).... Jesus, the christ, came to save everyone who will accept him as their saviour.

  • of course im not forgetting what i think are the most beautiful words of the NT, but the galatians letter are the words of paul, not jesus. paul and jesus have differing, contradicting messages at times (the obvious being if the first commandment is to love god or to love your neighbour)

now, in mark 7:29 jesus is most definitely referring to the gentile woman as a dog, telling her to eat scraps

and by referencing isaiah 56, jesus is saying gentiles will be like slaves in the kingdom of god

  • @nubbs Isaiah 56 And foreigners who bind themselves to the LORD to minister to him, to love the name of the LORD, and to be his servants, all who keep the Sabbath without desecrating it and who hold fast to my covenant. These I will bring to my holy mountain and give them joy in my house of prayer.Their burnt offerings and sacrifices will be accepted on my altar; for my house will be called a house of prayer for all nations.” doesn't sound like Jesus came for just the jews because of this quote.

  • Matt. 10:5 "Go not into the way of the Gentiles"

Matt. 15:24 "I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel"

John 4:22 "Salvation is of the Jews"

  • @nubbs Thats twisting scripture around you cant just pick and choose what you want to believe. But if thats what you believe (words from a person you dont claim to be the son of God) than just accept Jesus into your heart and make Him Lord in your heart as He is and should be. Thats all the witnessing I'm going to do for you I'm not here to argue. Jesus is love and He loves you and is waiting to give you life everlasting and new awesome revelation of the bible!

  • @Child0fG0d78

no, i dont want to be argumentative. i was only noting that god makes faith much more difficult for some people. people like me.

  • @nubbs

Hey nubbs. You saying that Jesus came for the Jews only?

  • im not saying that. jesus is saying that.

in mark 11:17, where jesus is referencing isaiah 56:6-7, he is comparing gentiles to slaves.

in mark 7:29 jesus compares a gentiles to dogs for seeking to steal (spiritual nourishment) from the jews

and in mark 12:29 jesus is limiting love of your neighbour to the jews alone

even paul in rom 1:16; 2:9-10 seems to imply that salvation comes first to the jews

and despite the accusation, i have not taken Matt. 10:5, 15:24 or John 4:22 out of context

  • @nubbs you are just picking obscure references for your argument and ignoring some of the most key passages in the gospels. parable of the good Samaritan, Jesus's meeting with the woman at the well, and the healing of the centurion's servant are all examples of Jesus ministering to non-Jews. Jesus also openly criticized the Jewish leaders.

  • @newjustice1212

im sorry, but nothing in the gospels are "obscure". and no, in none of your examples is jesus actually MINISTERING to gentiles.

the fact that jesus criticized the jewish leaderships means nothing. all the jewish prophets criticized the jewish leaders.

  • I dont claim to know the will of God but Im guessing a lot of Jews hearts were hardened to see Jesus and His works right in front of thier faces and still try to take away His divinity and say He was just a dude. I think that the Jews didnt want to believe Christ out of jealousy for what He was doing for the gentiles, God was no longer just for Jews to have a relationship with but for all of mankind. It was becuase of thier pride that He didnt reveal Himself the way they wanted Him to

  • a just god would have made the transfiguration happen at passover, at the temple.

god did not give us intelligence and not expect us to use it. bold claims require bold evidence. obviously the resurrection wasn't bold enough evidence, or more jews would have turned to the early jesus movement (when very few did - it was almost all gentiles and the work of paul, ie people who never would have seen the resurrection anyways). god cant blame us for his insufficient evidence

  • @nubbs I think healing the sick and casting out demons like only the true son of God can do is bold enough evidence for me. how can one see evidence of that and still have the nerve to ask God for a sign?

  • people other than jesus were healing the sick and casting out demons at this time as well. so no, that is not evidence enough

and jesus didnt do anything for the gentiles, really. in fact, he told his disciples not to go preach to them. thats why peter and james his brother never leave judea or the galilee and argue with paul (this is all in the NT). it is paul alone who says there is no distinction between jew and genitle in corinthians, not jesus

jesus was a jew, preaching for jews, to jews

  • does anyone ever wonder why the transfiguration couldn't have just happened at the temple in jerusalem, so EVERYONE could have seen it and no one would have doubted jesus. i mean, this changes nothing about the crucifixion, since the romans still would have executed him for stiring up trouble on passover. i mean, why bother with all the other miracles when clearly this is only one anybody would need to believe - "holy shit, i just saw the 'revenant' of moses and elijah"

  • @nubbs I guess theres something about an act of faith that God just loves. They didnt believe and were wicked enough to test Jesus even though it says, "you shall not test the Lord your God."

  • @Child0fG0d78

but why would peter and john later abandon jesus after his arrest if they had seen this transfiguration and had no reason to doubt jesus. and why would even jesus express doubt (in mark, in what i think is one of the most reliable passages) having experienced this transfiguration?

and they were not "wicked" to have tested jesus. jesus was making some bold claims, and proof was only to be expected. if it was just about faith, jesus would have performed NO miracles

  • this one and seven swans, Gods got these on His ipod

  • @Child0fG0d78 And "To Be Alone With You" :)

  • @Child0fG0d78 I wonder if He has an iGod
