Very nice. I have him and Terra Ceanataur to deal with for my last 2 G-rank training for Fatty. I started seeing where to roll dodge after a while, however I'm horrible at using the longsword. thanks for showing the spirit slash (or whatever its called) then jab. I didn't know it was quite that quick. It seems to make it so you can roll pretty quickly afterwards.

@raichupwnsall The name of the sword is indeed Eidelweiss Ice Blade (possibly +) and its and upgrade from the guardian sword -> aqua guardian -> eidelweiss ice blade ->eidelweiss+ but personally id go with Shadow of the Moon (narga ls) or Daoras Raid

rajang is one of the monsters where pitfall traps only work in rage mode, like nargacuga.

@AdventEdge pitfall traps work on rajang while it has golden fur.So if it is a normal(black) Rajang it works while it is in rage mode,and if it is a Super Rajang(that gets electric while in rage) works while is NOT in rage mode.

Since this fight is mainly about timing dodges, the narga set fits well.

Notice how often he presses "R" one time and roll.Tthis is not just because the "R" attack has no foot movement, but also it is possible to roll immediately after the attack (other keys like triangle and square takes a split second to roll after the attack).

the amazing evading is much assisted by the naruga armor.. evade distance inc and evade + 2.. means ur 'invinvible' time is greatly increased.. add tt to gr8 dodging skills u wont get hit very often.. makes hunting a naruga worth while. just that i not sure the timing to evade roars.. hope u can advise ^^

How do you know that when the weapon is sharp or not?

u see the weapon uo in the left, when it changes color means it loses sharpness.

But there are different colors and for me when i sharpen and it says the weapon is at max sharpness and its is still glowing green.

look. The weapons have a max sharpness. Unless u use the skill artisan this sharpness is the max u have. No matter how low it falls (e.g red) when u use a whestone it is returned to max shaprness. U have green cause this is ur weapons max. Better weapons have better, e.g blue

generally red<green<blue<white<purple.if u have green after some hits (depends on how much green u have) it becomes red. if u have white and u keep attacking if u do not sharp it itWillEventuallyDropTo RedAskAgainIfNotOk.

its not impossible to beat dual rajang in less than 7 mins. i used high sandman pike against the two and brought with me a couple of traps,large barrel bomb plus and a couple of tranq bombs. i got this tip from one vid i watched earlier and he even managed to beat the dual rajang in less than 6 mins.

The word is weak and I believe that all training school monsters are weaker because you have less time to kill them. For the Monster Hunter Fiesta update, me and my brother killed the Nargacuga with 12 seconds to spare of the 15 minutes given. :D
