I discovered weekly Marmot like two weeks ago, and I've been slowly going back and watching some of the episodes with interesting sounding topics, I can't believe I didn't find it sooner, because truthfully your opinions are awesome.
Why people are interested in what you think about stuff? Because they like you as a person and trust you. I watched TWM since #1 and it's been about 1,5yrs since I last played WoW. I don't care for the game anymore, but I consider you a friend of some weird kind.... I mean, I *know* you, I can't just stop watching and forget. Weird stuff happens on the inter nets.

$1 Segment made me tear up too. Things like that have happened to me, and yes it really humbles you. It makes you feel better about what you do, gives you energy to do more, and actually makes the back of your mind go: "I can't let them down, that guy gave up his last $1 for me to do this."

An old GM of mine when I first seriously got into raiding swore by the tankspot guides and forums for a lot of things. While being referred to watch fights that we were gonna work on progression I stumbled upon the weekly marmot (This is before PST.) Listening to your opinion on WoW makes me look at the game in a different light and gain a little more insight. Just wanted to say to keep up the great work and here is to another good year. I look forward to hearing more about the upcoming MoP.
I started watching the weekly marmot because of the Cinderhelm videos and Ulduar videos that came out were extremely helpful for an up-coming serious semi-hardcore raider. As the show has 'evolved' biggest compliments is definitely the quality of a solid topic, an upbeat positive tone (or constructive critism tone) about changes, and most of all you're reliable. In the end you said "just do it" which I think only skims the very important fact that you still do it and don't skip out. Thank you.
The idea of puting game footage in the Weekly Marmot is awesome, I'd love to see how you run things just to see kinda where your stand and opinion is. Keep up the good work man 2 years strong!!
Would be great to have someone that is well spoken and educated in the way the game works to do some class guides. Maybe if you are able to find some time gather friends and pop some on the channel, would be great to watch
Ever think about doing half wow and half swtor in weekly marmot and PST? Lot of us have moved on from wow but still like to tune in each week to see what's going on. To me swtor is breath of fresh air to actually be enjoyable to level up again. It needs a podcast of your standards.

Personally, I watch because you're a genuinely nice guy, very down-to-earth and very sincere. You keep me updated on the WoW news I missed and your opinions are always very well-based, they change the way I think of WoW. You're kinda like "a brother with whom you can ramble about nerdy stuff for hours" :p

Hi Lore, I think that people like you because you are the "translator" of patch notes and announcements. When something new comes out and people don't know what it is, they assume it's going to be bad and flames it. This is where you come in and break down the news for us so we understand and get perspective on the matter. Blizz needs to thank you for saving them endless angry posts on the forums. Lore you are fucking amazing. The part about not being able to buy birthday presents / you freeloading made me real sad :(... but Lore, you shouldn't feel bad. You are a great guy, and money is only an object that does not matter when we all return to dust. People remember PEOPLE, not money.

Lore, there should be a guy like you (probably not as awesome, but hey, there can only be one) who does this Warcraft-Talk-Stuff for PvP. PvE just didn't interest me that much... yet i still like to hear your opinions on stuff that isnt apealling to me... strange.
This was definitely very interesting, I threw it into fullscreen, watched it... and then you were saying thanks for sticking around. I was thinking, oh ok its only been like 20 minutes, and bam almost an hour long. "Treating the camera like a person" is definitely the bonus you have. I know it was a live stream but, in general. Interaction and perceived interaction with the fan base goes a long way.
A suggestion thou, you could utilize that big screen you got in the background to sometimes show footage of what you are talking about. Could make shows more entertaining and easier to follow.

I started my live PvP feed because I was inspired by you. I only thought maybe 5 people would tune in each night, but I get 50+. I did this as a project to improve on potential job skills and build up my confidence. This was a huge help to me in my project and now, my new job. Thanks! Btw, i quit wow like 5 months ago just cause i moved and i got no normal (this one just dies cause of 720p movie O.o) pc here ("cool story bro"), but anyways. Even after whole this time i still watch your shows because i think they are one of the best ones on youtube so i thank you for that, plus you were always the only one who wasnt that critical about wow in general(unlike tons of wow community). Personally, I watch because you're a genuinely nice guy, very down-to-earth and very sincere. You keep me updated on the WoW news I missed and your opinions are always very well-based, they change the way I think of WoW. Hi Lore, I think that people like you because you are the "translator" of patch notes and announcements. When something new comes out and people don't know what it is, they assume it's going to be bad and flames it. This is where you come in and break down the news for us so we understand and get perspective on the matter. Blizz needs to thank you for saving them endless angry posts on the forums. This was definitely very interesting, I threw it into fullscreen, watched it... and then you were saying thanks for sticking around. I was thinking, oh ok its only been like 20 minutes, and bam almost an hour long. "Treating the camera like a person" is definitely the bonus you have. I know it was a live stream but, in general. Interaction and perceived interaction with the fan base goes a long way.

Just wanted to thank you Lore. I have been playing wow since about 4 months after launch. Though I have currently stopped playing at cata. I have found your tips for raiding very helpful making me a much better raider than i was before. Continuing to watch your show to keep me in the loop as some of my friends still play.
