@Lukelr Honestly, thats what the parents of this generation said. People will always be given a new medium to work with, and they bend it to their own image. Look at genres like Techno-pop and Drumstep (NOT DUBSTEP PLZ) and Electro and all those genres. we have computers, we use them. This song mixed all kinds of instruments that were unusal for that time, with different tones and styles. So, in a way, 'funk' was the Drumstep of the 80s. (because come on, we know thats what your talking about.)
