I don't know if it's worth if you just need a place to your stuff. At the beginning I use to put my things to open top sacks in Market district or clams near prison sever exit. Those container types are the only safe ones I know, because all other containers are respawning. I'm not sure about tree stump in Market district.

I hated Oblivion at first but i have nothing else to play so i am putting up with it lol i though if i hate Oblivion i wouldn't like Skyrim so i had to give it another try :|

Is it safe if you put your items in your storage?

Yes. Only house (for sale) which is not safe is Benirus Manor in Anvil before the quest is completed. After that, it's also safe.

Before you can buy houses, you can use IC Market district's open top sacks or clams near prison sewers. Every clam is ok, but It's a great place because you can fast travel to your loot easily.

If I remember right, I was using console, so that I could do this video and then I got back to my normal save.

In normal game, I go to farrms to get food (carrot, tomato etc.) and then I make potions for sale. Easiest way to start this, is to go Skingrad's wineyard (near stables) and tomato field (north from Skingrad's east gate).

There's another way to get money but it might be considered "cheating." It works best if you have a ring or necklace of great value. Say, if you have a ring that's worth a thousand gold, take a bow out, pull your arrow back and press the button that brings up your inventory find your arrows and click them, it should say "You cannot equip an item while attacking" as soon as you get that, go to the ring and drop it. If you have 30 arrows, 30 rings will pop out. Don't do this if you have 200+ arows

@XenoChrist1 Yeh use it with the ring that you get after completing Unfriendly Competion at Three Brothers Trade and sell them for 1000 a peice. Currently I have 150000 gold. Killing that guy in the plaza district is too risky.

Part 2: I got over 30,000 gold that way. You can an get infinite amount of money doing that. but if you do it with 200 or more arrows your game will freeze. This may be patched by now but I got my copy a few months ago and it works for me.

Only Skingrad house has display cases (7). House costs 25000 + upgrades (base cost 23000). About 50000 - 70000 is total price.

You're level 2, get on the boat that the pirat showed you and they will attack you, the guards are strongest than them and will kill them, so you can take goods weapons to make a little money ! ;) (I'm french, maybe I wrote something which mean bothing...)

You can find one in Mystic Emporium in the Market District.

Mages guild merchants (except in Skingrad) has one.

Also on level 12> any magical equipment merchant MAY have grand level gems.

If you have about 5000 septims, you can buy all of it. Empty house costs 2000 septims.

You can use clams for your items too. There are some clams in water near prison severs exit.

Also you can use OPEN TOP sacks in Market District's two storage areas in Imperial City.

Once I have seen beggar stealing carrot from sack though.

Buy 'em,find 'em,or steal 'em!

If you steal 'em then join the Thieves Guild and sell them to a fence then buy them back,they'll be laundered so they won't be stolen.
