When you design a system like she describes, you have to engage in widespread oppression through violence in order to force chaotic (in the scientific sense of the word) human behavior into variables the inadequate resolution of the design could not anticipate. Look at history and human psychology. How many tragedies were caused by people 'just doing their job' or 'following orders' from designed systems? All of them.
