However, if the only topics being mentioned are on sports and entertainment, what kind subliminal message is being conveyed to the audience? (thats a rhetorical question) Your point is extremely valid. The preacher understood the importance of speaking on other topics because he knows we are GREAT at all things. He did an excellent job at transitioning the audience into those other topics.
