Ya know what was great about CoD4's ending? You fight a last-stand battle and just about lose, you got to kill the bastard you've been hunting for 15 years, and it's Russians who save you. Unlike MW2 where all Russians are evil for no good reason, CoD4 showed that you were definitely fighting amidst a civil war, and that Zakhaev, who was more of a terrorist than a Russian, didn't represent all of Russia; Kamarov and his bros were fighting for stability, the same as the SAS. Great story & game.

@MikeIronweaver56 mw2 the russians were evil do to they no longer had a sense of security to to makarov,s constant terrorist attacks but thats not the message of the game the message is that war effects both sides and that it is a abomination of mankind but it is un avoidable

@crazyman2171 No, the message of MW2 is "Look! Explosions!" One terrorist group or one maniac is no reason for Russia to go to war with the USA. It's an ass pull, a lame excuse for MW2 to involve a huge invasion of the USA because it's our greatest fantasy to be invaded apparently. Russia would never go to war with the USA, especially not because a terrorist group used American guns. I'm pretty sure they could figure out it was a set-up. At worst, Russia just gets angry, but doesn't go to war.

CoD 4 - picture of civil war, great Pripyat mission, Zakhaev much better bad guy than Makarov, whole The Coup cutscene...

MW2 - "Oh my fucking god, so good effects and graphics!" but chaotical unlogic jumping-around-the-world-rando­mly story.

I couldn't agree with you more, since an American is manipulating Russia into war with America to make America great again. Maybe the Modern Warfare sub-series earns my respect, though I still enjoy Japanese games.

@MikeIronweaver56 they thought the attack was the americans doing because they found that allens body was american,so they thought that America supported the attack. The guns had nothing to do with it. I do agree with you still, because one of the russians there died with allen, and clearly he wasnt american, so Russia till didnt have a legit reason to just invade.

@ArmySniper1996 That's true that Allen's body was more important evidence than the weapons to the FSB, but I'm sure the CIA could divulge to the FSB that Allen was a plant in order to capture Makarov. There'd still be outrage from the FSB, but not a friggin war!
