You are so awesome! The best recipes, the best advice, and i really enjoy watching your videos. Thank you SO MUCH for posting ALL your videos. You're wonderful! :)
Great Video!! Dan, when you put this is the refrigerator, will it get a little hard? Like pumpkin pie? Like, if I cut it, will it stay together? Thanks : )
You speak the truth. The modern man thinks he is enlightened and so much more advanced than those of the middle ages, but in reality we are not. We have traded enlightenment for entertainment.
I believe I understand what you are trying to do with enlightenment through food and I would love to reach that point myself in my lifetime. Breaking down mono to experience the true energy of each fruit or vegetable is enlightening enough for me. Being that aware can only be described as such.
In the beginning of the video you mentioned pumpkin could make baby food for a year. Could you expound on that? Thank you. A video a week would be less confusing for me and humanity. But...then I would become bored. Yeah, you're a bastard,Dan. Welcome to my club.
@MedusasFineEye Infants do not produce amylase (starch-splitting) enzymes at birth and are unable to do so for quite some time. Salivary amylase is not normally present in any real quantity until about 6 months and pancreatic amylase is not produced in adequate amounts until molar teeth are fully developed. Amylase is necessary for the body to properly convert carbohydrates into sugar and for starches to be properly digested.
:D You read my mind! I was just thinking today.. how to people eat a pumpkin when they're raw? LOL It really is learning to think a different way about eating.
I really want to eat raw, and it's both scary, and encouraging bc such a different way to approach food..so different I can't abuse it; no negative connections made to it. I need something new, then anyway I ate before, so I could be successful with weight loss. I want to feel radiant. But I can't kick the addictions: salt, sugar..
Wow! that looks really good Dan..can't believe I can still learn something new with raw foods after so much time and experimenting..good show as usual my friend!
Please say a prayer for us if you will Dan. My mom is sneaking cakes and cookies to my husband at work and will not respond to my requests to stop it.
Made a great salad, but I'm still in transition, this week will feature chicken salad and fresh whole kernel whole grain bread for lunch. Switching to beans salad by the end of the week, to end 100% vegetarian, and possibly next week at least one day 100% RAW. TY (You are my inspiration to make this transition! God Bless forever!)
Some one please respond, How do I know that i'm truly buying organic food not just because it's labeled or approved by fda/usda Idk they lie about everything and organic is or is becoming very profitable lots of companies will try to keep in liferegenator respond to me where to buy.
Can't wait to try this! I was watching this video and immediately started thinking of how I could turn this into a pumpkin pie when he gave us the directions for doing that. For the holidays I'm making raw apple pie and raw pumpkin pie! YUM!!
Yur so inspirational...&i wondered about pumpkins.yur so rightuntil i found yur channel this was pretty foriegn to me,& i was never surrounded bypeople who eat like this,i noticed when at the store so much more organic foods than ever before ,this is going to really be the way of the future,i sorry i didnt relize the importance of this till had already damaged myself from all the posions & chemicals in foods,im sure many other factors played into it,but my body totally rejected the foods~
@tvswnet Oh gosh, I'm still sick thinking about it. I will have to wait longer to try this. I used to LOVE pumpkin pie. I also got poisoned by nutmeg not too long ago as well, so anything that I used to put nutmeg in makes my stomach curdle lol.
I've recently been wondering what you thought of pumpkins, and wondered about a good raw pumpkin pie recipe......it's like you read mi mynd! gracias! what about Sweet Potatoes, I assume you could do a similar pudding.

I've seen you get pretty thin on fasts but with this no fat, salt, spice cleanse... you look fit and strong! Very inspiring. Thank you. Nice arms /wink
I keep thinking one of these days your going to break that vitamix shaking it like that. LOL. I have a blendtec and im sorry, it sucks! I already had to send it back twice due to an "overload error" Wish I would have gotten the vitamix with tamper, it would help alot in a case like this where you dont want to add too much liquid and the tamper will help push stuff around vs adding more water.
i have been watching you for a few weeks now, and I may have a really stupid question.... ok two questions. 1. why does ur cocoanuts look like that ?? lol why do they have a white outter coating..2. why do u never use bananas?? im new to all this and where i live cocoanuts are very hard to come by and expensive when we do ..... but when ive seen them they are brown and furry lol ( this comment i am realizing doesn't sounds so innocent but it is )

@claudettedupont If raw sugar pie pumpkin does as well for me as summer squash or Armenian cucumber, I might want to stick with _cooking_ pumpkin. How clean does my colon really need to be?
This will definitely be a keeper for me and it couldn't have come at a better time. I am also looking forward to trying the many different varieties as well. Thanks Dan.
@frnknsns From what I understand it does, like juicing in a centripetal juicer, add more oxygen into the "mix" which causes oxidation. This is only harmful if you let the juice sit. If you blend or centripetal I have been told to drink it almost immediately. How much truth is in this IDK :)
What do you do when a friend just had their gallbladder removed (and they found after that it was GANGRENE). The gallbladder attack was brought on by eating a ton of junk food. While visiting them in the hospital you try to get them to understand that they need to eat more whole foods instead of processed food, but they just shrug it off that it won't help. You know they will just have more health problems soon, but they don't get it....sigh :(
@fruitmakesucute I know A LOT of people like that and as a nursing student we learned that we can only educate people we cannot make them change their health. If you are really good friends with them try to get to the core of why they dont want better health for a longer life..sometimes its depression and other things just knowing that you care can sometimes make a difference.
