Good you never as I said. I could identify this as a mink at 5 yrs of age some 45 ago. River otter are larger than a large house cat. They also are classified as Furbearers. To my eyes the hammer is back. This video at least of yours gives ill repute to hunters burdened with keeping our tradition alive. Sorry
It's a mink of course what kind of country boys are you & was that hammer back! Good you never shot it, seems at least. Furbearer, protected for trappers.
Change of mind. I'm going to go with Mink like Brensmit77 because of the white patch on its neck. The river otters have a more flat or defined face where minks have a longer snout.
It was a River Otter! No question about it. Here in Washington State they are everywhere. I have one (or a dozen for all I know) that lives below my house where I live and he/she lives under the point where I fish for Salmon. The little F*cker and I compete for that space! So far he/she is winning but the game isn't over! Love your video's. Might have to make a trip up!
The guy's user name is "Sandbarwillow" and calls you faggots? Ok sandbar. Make sure you Ban this idiot! Nice video guys! Wasn't that a River otter? That was the biggest Muskrat I've ever seen- if it was a muskrat.
These are the same faggots that kill mountain lions...
I guess if you're a wimpy guy, and can't go 'toe to toe' with another man, you've got to execute powerful animals in a pathetic attemp to prove your 'manhood.'
hey guys that looked fun. for all of you who dont know your animals that was a big buck mink around 28 inches very nice. i have trapped hundreds of them. they have a white patch under the chin, they run like squriels, have a bushy tail, very aggressive do not pick up i have tried it hurts. grab a 110 coni bear and get that bugger he will bring you 30 bucks. not bad shoda wacked him. good luck boys.
I looked in my (Species of Western Canada) book and its a Mink...weasels are a much lighter brown and Martens have grayish white markings on there face and ears
yeah he's right its indeed a mink. It looks like a fisher, but they more of a tree dweller and larger and i don't think we get those in Sask. The mink is semi aquatic and enjoys eating frogs and such. so put it all to rest its a mink.

That is a mink, you can tell by the white chin/chest patch
This is coming from a good sask boy who traps the little buggers all the time.

Yeah it is a mink, however we do have fisher in sask just in the bush up north

It's a fisher guys. A river otter is longer and dosen't have a pointy face. A marten is more weasel like.
