  • Big Deal ! Pacquiao Passed it all

  • @yumijanine11 i was gonna say the same thing XD

  • He didn't say sweat it out. He said shoot it out. I hope they covered their poopers.

  • I think they got fed up with his talking. LOL

  • I just realized how inaccurate this particular episode is about kali/eskrima. For example, they introduce Grand Tuhon Leo Gaje as master of "kali," then they go to Fort Bonifacio to introduce Pekiti Tirsia as if it's something different, when in fact Grand Tuhon Leo Gaje IS the Grand master of Pekiti Tirsia KALI. Plus, Kali is the original term whereas "eskrima" is the Spanish derivative. Kali and eskrima are the same thing.

  • im from Mindanao im 19 years old and those terrorist in BASILAN. Just want to claim the WHOLE Mindanao for the Moslem people.. but then it is not Fair for us christians and Lumad people because they did not occupy the whole mindanao.. the true inhabitants are the Lumads (Native People of Mindanao) who lived earlier than that of the Muslims from Borneo/Indonesia/Malaysia etc.

  • @lordswit6666 i was born in the republic of mindanao. im a citizen of republic of mindanao and a filipino second. im now residing here in southern california.

  • i'm definitely the blacksheep. mainly cause i'm 1/8 filipino and i'm the only guy in our family who didn't know eskrima. though i studied muay thai and sambo.

  • si bill masarap gawing pinikpikan. ang laki eh

  • sorry to say but that's gay dance

  • @hehayo Hindi taba yan. Muscle yan. Masmalaki ang muscle mass ng mga caucasian. @boipinoi604 Which part is gay dance?

  • Can't understand why they are using subtitles. I think its pretty offensive, his English is perfect. I know British people are good at understanding English in all different accents, as well as understanding people who speak poorly. So my guess is, it's for the American audience's benifit.

  • @dude157 Very much so, I was just thinking that it seems he doesn't need the subtitles.

  • @dude157 it's for the American audience, not all can understand the Filipino accent

From 2010 onwards Arnis is an obligatory subject in philippine school curriculum.

  • @GaolisVideoLog saan dun wla pa ko nakikita kht nga sa eskwelahan ko nun puro taekwodo lang ang demonstration

  • @yurishadow1 Ever since December 20th, 2009, at the same time when Republic Act. No. 9850, which made Arnis national sport of the Philippines, was passed. Raymond Velayo even talked about it.

  • @GaolisVideoLog well never heard of that...pero sabi ng pinsan ko wla pa din daw eskrima hanggang ngayun sa dati kong eskweahan taekwondo pa din....pero siguro wla lang instructor kaya ganun...

  • why do they subtitle the filipinos speaking? their english is actually excellent.

Galing nila. Sana makapunta rin ako jan at makatrain kasama nila. :)

  • saway, means to dance.

  • bakit kaya hindi tinuturo to sa mga eskwelahan?

nalaman ko lang yung tungkol sa eskrima at pinoy martial arts sa isa sa mga discovery channles.

  • because its not as cool as taekwondo

  • @pantipolo12 taekwondo today is actually just like a sport, it doesn't concentrate on self defense, so it's up to you if you want to defend yourself or just for some sport..

  • tinuturu na po. 3 taon na ang nakakaraan

  • sayang hindi nila tinuro nung gradeschool at highschool ako XD hehe.

  • eskrima is the best form of self defence.. wheter its offence or defence and the speed and strength are awesome..

  • haha did he just say 'ahh you gonna shit it out" ?

  • funny how he says "sayow may be a dance but the master explain that the master blah blah" cuz Sayow actually means dance, so dance means dance? lmfao.

  • you don't spell it as "sayow," you spell it as "sayaw."

  • I may be mistaken, but from what I've heard the Fillippino marines are badass enough that even the US Marines goes the Philippines to train with them.

Considering that the USMC is considered amongst the best fighting forces in the world, that's quite a compliment to the Filipino marines.

  • it's mutual actually. we show them guerilla warfare. they show us the technology.

  • Okay, okay, okay! xD

  • Filipino soldiers are the bravest coz they don't wear any body armors in combat

  • I used to be in the army and you dont know the half of it.

  • @sprawlmessiah thats becuz we dont have money to buy it lol

  • @sprawlmessiah lots of armies dont wear body armour the filipino enviroment is too hot to carry 20kg body armour around a hot humid jungle.

  • @sprawlmessiah

The soldiers who fought ww2 didnt wear any body armours?

  • im a mindanaoan first and filipino second yeah

  • @ricefighter2003: as ONE we are PROUD Filipinos. within us filipinos, I am a proud WARAY from Samar. but, it doesn't matter, we are brothers. Even if you're Muslim or a Catholic just as I am, we are brothers, we are Filipinos.

Eskrima is our heritage, contribution to the world. my grandfather used to tell me stories that they used this technique in close combat against japs in WWII. He was assigned in Bukidnon.
