  • This is not ZZ top.

  • @worthlessbum71 Fegget

  • i <3 this song!!!

  • easy

  • I miss Conway....he was great.

  • The best there is.....I love Loretta ....

  • two of my favorite duos of all time

  • Conway twitty and Loretta Lynn tow of the greatest duos and the other is Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers those are my favourite duets

  • @Royelsworth What about George Jones and Tammy Wynnette? those two and the two that you mentioned i would say are the best duets ever!!!

  • There are still a lot of us who love this great American music. The music that I was raised with. It's in my blood. Can't help it!

  • Loretta Lyn is such a doll here. It's a sin to be that Beautiful...

  • They are and will always be the best of Country.........

  • I used to hear this in my grandparent's 1975 Ford LTD, listening to KBOX-1480 in Mesquite, Texas. It sounds as good now as it did back then on the "Premium AM Radio". God Bless the USA!

  • Love these two they are great together, they seen to try and make the other laugh.

  • Country Music could sure use a whole lot more of this today.

  • Loretta sure had pretty hair back then. She was go gorgeous and didn't even know or care it seems. Those two are the best duo ever. They sure do this Freddy Hart classic due justice.

  • shes hot

  • just loved this video, keep up the great songs .

  • God, that's beautiful. Loretta and Conway were born to sing together. Those two voices together are sublime.

  • Beautiful sexy Loretta Lynn.

  • the four dislikes must be queers.

  • @MrRifleman270 Why do you say that. This was my mother's favorite song when I was growing up in the 70's. I was raised on Conway Twitty and Loretta Lynn. I love them both, I love this song and I'm queer as the day is long.

  • i rember my girls telling me they were out with there mum in the car sun roof open 8 track on and a beer in a brown bag and this song as loud as it can go in the late 60's early 70's

    Y/C

  • Didn't Captain Kangaroo have a suit like that?

  • Great song, good performance...But still Freddie can not be beat!!!

  • @mplittlefield ...I dunno...I think I like this version better. Plus, Loretta is just beautiful here, as always. :)

  • They did a nice job on this but its Freddies song

  • Legendary country music.

  • THEY HAD SO MUCH FUN TOGETHER

  • Loretta was so pretty here....and Conway...well what can you say? He was one of the absolute greatest ever.

  • Woot woot! I reign with a battle ax in the trailer court. Own my own mobile home! Woot woot! FUCKIN' A CONWAY TWITTY!!!

  • i wish these two lovebirds would cheer up!!!!!!

  • One of the greatest duo's of all time! I've seen Loretta four times in concert and I wish I had seen them together in concert. It proves that we shouldn't put things off till another time. A fan for ever.......

  • Loretta still touring, time to see her..but not with CT..

One of the great pair of true country...we miss you Conway Twitty...

  • I remember seeing these two in the late 70's at the Fair. When Conway did that little growl at the beginning of this song every woman screamed and yelled. The response when he sang 'Hello Darlin' was even more deafening.

  • @zephiey I saw him in the 80's, I took my Granny and her sister and they were the ones screaming and yelling...a great memory (embarrassing at the time though..lol).

  • it breaks my heart thinking i missed growing with these two .. Loretta is one of my favorite singers prob never ever get to see her .. but i feel connection .. funny huh ?Born to late here

  • now thats country

  • Wonderful. This is REAL country music. Thank you.

  • In My humble opinion; Loretta & Conway set a benchmark for duetts to measure to. They were so dedicated to their craft; giving a new, fresh prospective, and meaning to Love Songs. I remember it was so cool, on our special occasions, to dedicate a song for my wife at our local radio station. All I had to do was ask for a Song by Loretta & Conway. Those were truly wonderful years in my life, I will never forget. Dot is in heaven now, I still play their songs on our special occasions.

  • @woneRickyWebb What you wrote is so sweet. Have agood day..

  • CAN YOU IMAGINE WHAT THIS WOULD SOUND LIKE IF THEY HAD THE EQUIPMENT THESE ARTISTS TODAY HAVE , WIRELESS MICS,SYNTHESISERS,BIG AMPS ETC.

  • freddie hart did it better

  • @pjicleanair420 ....That's a matter of opinion. I like this version better. But then, Loretta could sing the phone book and make it sound great!

  • those two were the greatest conway was one lucky guy to team up with loretta

  • Damn this is good. As a kid I was clueless as to how sexy Loretta was!

  • @waynerjson....Wasn't she beautiful? :) And even today at 76, she is STILL pretty! Check out her "Portland Oregan" video with Jack White. I guarantee you, there aint too many 76 year old grandmas that look as good as Loretta still does!

  • Get your act together, Kev! I know that this has been a bad year, but get up off of your knees!

  • they had stories to tell back then, now we have stupid singer this generation

  • @lee2tre yeah reallly where has the romance gone in music today ? its not there anymore !

im tellling you people we more songs like these

  • @notjustanything im tellling you people we need more songs like these

  • @notjustanything I agree..... beats the hound doggin' they are pukeing out today... I gave up listening to todays "country music"....

  • "so real to life it seems" there's a freshness to this performance that one just has to return to time and time again. And oh yes.... and with such class.

  • One of the best country songs ever written! I never get tired of it.

  • their timing is all off very amateur-like and they screwed up a perfectly wonderful song !! north bay ontario

  • It must of killed her when Conway died. You can tell by watching this that they both really liked each other. Maybe if Moody would of died first Loretta and Conway could of been together. You just don't smile like that unless you are feeling something. Maybe thats why she has never gotten married again her true love died 17 years ago. If you have ever had true love in you life......... you as long as you live will never forget them ;) And they will never forget you.

  • @ladygalburnett She & he were close but as she said nothing happened between them. She did she she felt as though they were soul mates but never did anything happen between them, They just were not that way & honored their vows & marriage. She was @ the hospital w/her husband when they brought Conway in, how ironic she speaks of that time & how she tried to keep him here by yelling for him to come back. He & Mickey were divorced for 1 year & they remarried. Both were tops w/me & the greatest EVER

  • @jeanettea1 Conway and his wife got another divorce and he married a woman about 20 years younger than him. She made life hell for his kids after his death. They blame her for their Mom and Dads divorce. It really is a sad story look it up on the net.

  • @ladygalburnett they certainly had chemistry,,, conway, nor loretta ever thought of each other, other than friends... he is so missed

  • That's my favourite .....

  • hey, blythekd32 i was trying to not to admit my age, it was in the 70s at gilleys

  • evurday iz thaynksgivun

  • i seen conway at gilleys a few years ago, it was great.

  • @bambi3331 must of been quit a few years ago since he passed in 1993

  • What a shame that they never even as much as "shared a kiss" according to Loretta, but there was such love between the two of them.

  • Real talent!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's what this is Conway & Loretta made the best duet of all times! There was not a song they did that I didn't love. These 2 are the only ones I listen. A DIE HARD CONWAY FAN FROM NE PA

  • @jeanettea1 Oh man, I could play 'It's Only Make Believe' a million times. My fav Lorettie songs are 'Dont Come Home A Drinkin' and " Cheatin' On A Cheater"

  • @jeanettea1 Hey, I'm a die hard conway fan from nepa too,. LOL

  • I don't know if anyone noticed but Loretta really gets off count around 0:35.

  • I just love that LORETTA!!! She's still touring like she has for the past 45 years! I actually had the opportunity to see Loretta & Conway together on stage in PA and it was her birthday. What an event of a lifetime!!!!

  • @amunrey How lucky. i was 6 when conway died. :(

i would give anything to have seen them both sing together live.

  • love this song

  • Conway's got a hell of a voice, and Loretta.....she's one hell of a fine looking woman.

  • @clean3 Amen to that.

  • very good!!!i sing this song to,look my channel.

    frans

  • this song was first put out by fredidie hart i think

  • @alwayssme

Yep, it was Freddie Hart. That was the greatest song ever made. Tho Conway and Loretta do good job!

  • Found "Back Street Affair" by Conway too. He did it in his usual fantastic Conway Twitty way!

  • @SISTER05SANDY never heard that, i think mel street did it first

  • " Back Street Affair " is on youtube. Carl Smith does a graet job of it. My mom use to sing it often. Wish we could get music like this today.

  • yea day r a great i like country lot nice ty

  • What a time.nice song....nice people...

  • One of my very favorite songs by Conway and Loretta. I wish someone would post "Backstreet Affair" It was also one of my very favorites when I was a teenager, and listening to all these songs on my Mom's Conway and Loretta 8 track cassette..

  • they were great five stars thank you

    for posting them .

  • Loretta was faithful, but she loved singing and loved singing with Conway

  • loretta lynn is a national treasure

  • This is quite amazing. They don't make "country" music like this anymore. Hats off to Conway and Loretta.

  • @ninehorsejohnson I totally agree with you! (: ♥

  • @pccsoccer30 the truth speaks for its self... thank you!

  • @ninehorsejohnson Yes..it does! (:

    And your welcome! (: ♥

  • when a woman smiles at a guy like loretta is smiling at conway thruout this song..its a real turn on for anyone watcing these two singing together...there is much more than a song gong on here...i can't quite put my finger on it...but much more than just a song between two people...they were in love...at this time...at this moment...

  • A classic hit, taken and divided up just right between the two and made into a beautiful duet, RIP Conway Twitty

  • the fact they were so believable as a couple is what made their music great! but i'd bet my life it never happened!

  • you can tri ...And hope is live.......

  • Look at her gorgeous hair!!! I'll bet it wasn't extensions way back then.

  • @Rubiglo....Loretta never had extensions. That's her real hair. She's part indian, and if you look up her sister (Crystal Gayle) you'll see she had hair all the way down to the floor.

  • i think they would have married but loretta said in an interview of hers when they asked her why she didn't leave doolittle because her parents raised her up that divorce was wrong( stand by ur man kinda thing. but i did hear and i don't know if it was true that her and conway did have an affair. but again i don't know if that's true or false.

  • i would love if they did have an affair, they should,

  • @abbacs100 yeh well beings he's been gone for about 14 yrs or so aint gonna happen

  • well that's so relive, thanks alwayssme for this information, cause they kissed on "hello darling" by conway,

  • @TPTPTP88 loretta was true to her marriage, conway not so sure of

  • I don't know why they didn't marry. They way the look at eachother. Many have tried but these two really make it work.

  • What year?

  • i think it sounds fine.. timing.. the few parts they were off sounded good. i think it fit well.

  • I can't believe you said that, but one has to wonder. I would have lost my voice if she looked at me like that ;) These two were always glorious together!

  • i really think that loretta is very sexy singing this song..and if i was conway i would say..lets do this song later and lets go get a cup of coffee or something...and loretta you know how i like my coffee..hot sweet and light....and loretta would say..are we still talking about coffee???

  • Conway traveled in his bus called the Twitty Bird. I miss those days of real singers.

  • conway and loretta lynnn are the all time favorites of country music and they are great singing together

  • I love Conway and Loretta but Freddy did this one just a little bit better I think.

  • love it.

  • I believe it's spelled "loving"

  • Boy you smart

  • Loretta is the best!!!

  • Love this duo, there will never be one to beat or even compare to this!!!Thanks for posting.

  • I love the Captain Kangaroo coat Conway is sporting. Wimbledon linesmen wear the same coats in blue.

By the way, Loretta was such a babe.

  • One of the best duets ever!! R.I.P. Conway!!

  • I like both kinds of music, country and western

  • i love conway and loretta, it brings back memories of when i was little and my parents listened to them, hopefully i can keep the generation going

  • Amazing how country music from the late 60's and early 70's can be sleazy yet wholesome at the same time.

  • great great music. I grew up in a musical era never to be repeated. country revitilaized, Nashville sound, classics & these two. Rock was great then as well. I agree today is not great. To many look alikes sound alike,NO individualist style. Compare the complete differences in sound between the greats. Special in their own way! Johnny Cash , Conway, even Patsy earlier.Jim Reeves, Hank Snow &Williams in classic. So different so great. Gone forever cept memories.

  • This an old classic by Freddie Hart. Very good by Conway and Loretta!

  • does anyone know the name of the song that Loretta did for her husband whenever he died?

  • was soll das?

  • I believe you may be thinking of "Love is The Foundation" I heard her mention once shortly before he died that it was has favorite. I searched that song last night and she does have a live version what I listened to was a little hard to hear at first. Hope this helps.

  • yes, thank you, i appreciate it!

  • Does anyone know which video Conway & Loretta tell the story of when they first recorded & he hung up the phone too hard...it angered her & she tore into him, setting him straight about hanging up 'gently'?

  • i think its called .. as soon as i hang up ther phone... im a great conway fan, but memory fails me at times, but im pretty sure thats what its called.

  • i just checked and it is, , as soon as i hang up the phone... couldnt find it by the two of them but a remake, hope u can find it and njoy ,and ive seen the clip where conway was explaining that song, he really did hang up the phone too hard , when they were finished and she came out and gave him hell , lol

  • i'm a fan of his and the video is ,as soon as i hang up the phone.

  • this is awesome~we play it heaps as though it was still a new song~wish I could find a clip of the both of them singing "Hello Darling" I can find it seperately but these two are just awesome as a duet,,,thanx so much, Angie ♪♫

  • Now THIS is real country. Today's country is simply 20 year old rock.

  • This is some of the most beautiful music to ever fall upon our ears. I love this stuff. I grew up on it and cant get enough. The bad part to listening to this is...well,I cant hardly stand to turn on the radio after listening to this because what they call music today is not COUNTRY music. That is besides the awesome George Strait and a VERY FEW others. Thank you so much for posting!

  • Great singers the both of them will always be rememberedas two of the best singers of all time,ty

  • ha its funny how lorretta jumps back when conway starts his growling.

  • FANTASTIC

  • I'm 36, my younger childhood was raised with Conway (my dad loved him). Please don't let his music die ... radio has forsaken the best song a friend ever had. Don't let his music die

  • they were awsome :)

  • What year was this

  • 1972

  • The lady the legend!!!!!!

  • They are PURE COUNTRy .. I WISh .. I WISH .. there were country artists today that could hold a candle to Loretta and Conway

  • I love Conway....raised with his music..

  • Conway and Loretta....probably the BEST country duo of ALL time. Any hard core country fan would agree, I'm sure!!

  • Yes ... A hard core country FAN agrees. The NUMBER ONE duo of ALL TIME.

  • These two are so awesome. They really had a great partnership and brought so many great songs to us all. They are gold. Great video.

  • i think they sing good together

  • Why aint they got the song with only conway twitty singing>>>that would be better!!!

    But stilll love the song.

  • fantastic , thankyou for posting.

  • These two were meant for each other. Both superstars.

  • can never have enough loretta;-]

  • christ power straight power one power one love
