By the way, the word you should use is "acapella," not "acoustic". The difference, you ask? Acapella is singing or other noises coming from the mouth without any musical intruments. Whereas acoustic is a type of guitar, and usually used when someone wants to distinguish which guitar they're using.

Just thought you might like to know, acoustics is the study of sound waves in its various forms. Musically, acoustic instruments are everything not electric. Beatboxing is pretty similar to vocal percussion (I'd actually say it's the same thing but people get angry when I do . . . I don't know why), so he's not wrong to say it's acoustic, seeing as he didn't use a mic.

Also, I've been beatboxing for years and still can't do the bass roll at about 40 secs, :-(
