@Scinlao A Stardate is a non-cyclical measure of time. One year (365 24-hour periods) is equal to 1000 Stardates. Thus, each day (24 hours) is approximately 2.74 Stardates. As Starfleet operates on a 26-hour day, that equals approximately 3 (2.968) Stardates to each day.
BIG mistake guys. According to Memory Alpha, the USS Exeter's starship registry was NCC-1672. She was declared abandoned by James T. Kirk when the crew was infected by a disease that drains the water from life forms.
@thefinalfrontier1701 Dude.. it's just for fun. Sit back and enjoy, don't analyze. My question is, why are they wearing Willy Wonka golden tickets on their chests?
The comadore sounds like some kind of android, stiff and without emotion.
In my opening credits to startrek, it shows the starship chasing an alien ship, shooting phasers and torpedos as it busts through all the Title credits. Theme modifications, old school startrek theme song, but with doubletime snares to sound more like a military march.
They did very well with what they had. The acting is second rate at best but this isn't Hollywood after all. Even the original series cast a few third rate actors.
I like that they took some liberty on the weapons station drawing on the weapons control table seen in phaser control room in Balance Of Terror. The only problem is that the original series never used that station for that purpose. If I remember correctly (probably not) sometimes Navigation and sometimes Helm fired weapons.
I must confess i am confused as well, Kirks previouse commission before the Enterprise was the Exeter under command of Captain Garovic - the uniforms gear and ship are all current with the classic series and not current with the looks of 'The Cage".
This is a major continuity error because in this episode it is commented that the Exeter is only a few months old.
Contessaoreilley, Though there were 12 Constellation Class starships, according to the 70's Starfleet technical manual, there were over a hundred ships similar to the Enterrise. On another front, Andoria is a major world. Hundreds, if not thousands of ship would be coming and going all of the time. They would probably have a domestic defense fleet independent of Starfleet. Something worth mentioning.
From what I remember, there were 12 Constitution class (Enterprise type) starships during the Kirk era. Not all of them were shown or named during the original series.
The exeter, farragut and enterprise are all in the same time period as are all episodes where Constitution class starships are in use. The best way to determine this is to compare the stardates.
that guy should have held the elavator for the Captain

I thought Captain Garrovick commanded the U.S.S. Farragut and had a junior tactical officer named Lt. James T. Kirk????

@DBro65 I believe this is supposed to be a descendant of that Garrovick.
