I have an identical machine I've kept since 1975. it's still in excellent condition, one of several I fixed up when I lived in the Virgin Islands.Didn't use mine for several years, tried it recently, checked it, cleaned the controls, works fine.
i had one of those machines and it went in to a local auction room for sale and it only fetched two quid i was gutted the auctioner said when i put it in the auction it would make quiet a bit of money well it didnt and complete with a shed load of metal nab spools and tapes
Sendo Fã dos REVO'S, sou suspeito em dizer algo sobre...porém...são excelentes...tenho um B-77MKII além de um A77 MKIV que acho maravilhodo...são equipos para à VIDA TODA...parabéns pelo equipo.
I have the same machine (mk1) only mine has the stainless steel faceplate instead of the plain gray. Superb sounding machines although not well suited to editing. My Otari MX5050bII gets used for that.

I've always wondered...why does one of the reels move so much faster the the other? Shouldn't the go at the same speed?

@spacehelmetforacow no, it keeps tension on the tape to properly wind it, else it would spill all over.

a lot of them are the simplest machines you'll ever work...it depends on what you want for your studio
