Maria, I have figured it out and made two! But, my question is , the bind off stitches look way different from the beginning stitches. Should I do a different stitch for row 1. Making these as Christmas gifts and so I want to do it right! Thank you for a great pattern!!
@4krist10 Hello, thanks for your interest. I always skip the first stitch but knit the last one, so the stitch that you did not knit at the beginning will be kntted at the round back on the last stitch.
Hi love this scarf... mine looks funky on the bottom are you cadting on 2 times to make a heavier bottom? Also in the beginning you are not winding around the first peg because its a turning peg? Thanks Stephanie Looks really nice!
@artychick100 I casted on once but with two strands of yarn to make it heavier. Yes, I do not knit the first stitch in none of the rows to make the edge like in chains. The whole scarf has double yarn. Thank you for giving it a try.

I just finished my first scarf using your instructions. It really turns out great. What do you suggest for binding off?
