I saw this in 91 in dallas,tx. was fabulous. 42 degree cold front moved in just as it started for an outside concert. Stayed for it all! He was just great.

I consider Tom Petty one of the Top-Three front-men in the history of live performance, and one of the Top-Five songwriters ever.

Definately one of the best endings to this song, but what a minute... Nixon ended Vietnam and opened relations with China, Reagan ended the Cold War, and Bush Sr defended Kuwait from a tyrant. The three of them sound like "peace-mongers" to me, not sure why they need the peace symbol shoved at them.
