  • Can u use corn oil

  • Oh umm could u use it for hair dye because it kinda looks like it for my cousins well answer me soon

  • What would u use this for exactly

  • @TheAllyciaTran These colors are great for use in soap, and other bath and body products. At the end of the video there are a few examples.

  • Can u use baby oil

  • @TheAllyciaTran Although I havent' personally tried ti - I think Baby Oil would work just the same way.

  • ok so you can get all these colors from bramble berry

  • @sohardcomingupwith And more! yes everything you see in this video can be purchased at Bramble Berry - but it's also a good technique to use for any hard to mix in colorant you may have.

  • How do you sterrilize pots or jars?

  • @7eloua These jars come sterilized form the manufacturer. But if you aren't sure you can wash your container as usual then dip it in a 10% bleach solution and let it dry.

  • Ahhh, so THAT is how I'm going to get those specks off of the top of my soap? I thought in one of the vidoes you'd recommended mixing micas with alcohol? That's what we've been doing, but we've had problems with it. Hopefully this will work a lot better!

  • @BrigidNoel Mixing with alcohol works with most micas but these are more like pigments. But yes, do give it a try!

  • can you please do a video explaining how to make the soap you showed at the end of the video?

  • @daniellehalsall I do have a a tutorial on how to make the Hawaiian them soap on my Soap Queen Blog. The Cold Process soap with the embedded swirled parts is available for sale on the Bramble Berry website. It's called 'Embedded Neon Soap'

  • what would you recommend to mix with for bath bombs??

  • @vmoon09 Oil would probably be best. That way it wouldn't set-off the fizzing reaction.

  • Can I use the same method on oxide colors? Great ideas and fun things you guys do! Bianka:)

  • @bibi9699 Yes, this would be a great way to make powdered oxides easier to work with.

  • Can you do a video on how to make dry oil spray???

  • @VNSW That's an interesting idea. I would need to work on making the perfect recipe first. Thanks for the suggestion!

  • Great job!

  • Thanks! Your videos on how to use your products is great!

  • you should make videos more often..

  • Make a nother video please

  • Thanks for letting us know you can pre make them. That makes it so convenient. Will you be making more how too videos? I noticed on your site that you are charging for them now. Does that mean you will be fazing out Soap Queen TV? I hope not..I enjoy them and learn so much. :)

  • @Mrssoappeddler Hi There! We have always offered videos that you can pay for as well as our free Soap Queen TV videos. The paid videos are longer and more involved, and usually show how to make a more advanced project. But we are still making Soap Queen TV videos - usually about one a month. We are hoping to supplement those with these little short videos that we make with our digital camera.

    Thanks!

    Anne-Marie

  • @soapqueentv

Thank you! I rely on you, your products and ideas so much..... you have helped make my business grow! :)

  • were have you been?! when i saw you had a new video it turned my day around :D thankie

  • @CharmyCupcake Thanks for your comment. This is the first video we've posted focusing on a specific product. All of our other Soap Queen videos are showing how to make an entire project. Can you tell me which videos you felt were just promoting a new Bramble Berry product?

And maybe something I didn't make clear in the video is that this will work with any oil based pigment - not just the ones the Bramble Berry carries.

    Happy Soaping!

    Anne-Marie

  • (Breath) Anne Marie...

  • If i got these powders would they work in casting resin and be just as bright?

  • @MangoGurly I have not used casting resin before - so I can't be sure. If you do try it, let me know.

  • Yay!!! Your back!!!

  • I just purchased some of your pigments. Thanks for sharing!

  • You are a life saver !! I ordered a number of your pigments from bramble berry and was wondering how to get them to work. Thanks so much!!!

  • Can you do this will all pigments or just Bramble Berry's Neon line.?

  • @kayorcee This technique works with all of the pigments and micas Bramble Berry carries - so I'm sure it will work with others as well.

  • @soapqueentv Wow thank you. I have been using color like crazy and this will help. I am going to go get your neon pigments.

  • Hey Anne Marie...have you ever had an actual colorant powder go bad on you? I had some of the blue that made whatever I put it in stink like rot! I wasted tons of lotion and soap base until I had narrowed it down to the blue powder. Do you know if this is common? I guess it could be that something got into the powder container before it was shipped to me. Don't worry, it wasn't from Brambleberry. It was a large co-op buy. Thanks for any info you can pass on!

  • @datsfam Some minerals can react with an ingredient in your product. Do you know what the INCI was for the powder you used? We don't have any at Bramble Berry that impart a scent but some of them can change color due to the pH of the product you are making.

  • This is pretty neat, but what is with the audio?

  • @cnccaseynicole I'm pretty sure it's an audio voice over. Her mic is all disorted. :)

  • @cnccaseynicole It's working for me, are you not able to hear the audio?

  • @soapqueentv I'm able to hear it just fine, but the quality doesn't sound as great as your usual.

  • this is amazing!i never thought of making soap until i watched your videos!it makes me wanna make some X3

  • @Flamekitty412 Thanks! It's wonderful to hear that you are inspired. Thanks for letting me know!
