WOW. They sound so beautiful in this! So... human! Kaito and Miku are my favorite vocaloids, and were the very first I was exposed to. The story reminds me of Cinderella with a dark twist, and that's cool that Vocaloid songs give that dark twist to a fairy tale, and so tastefully too!. (Alice Human Sacrifice, anyone?)

Vocaloid is a set of programs made by Yamaha that have synthesized voices. Each of the differant voices are either male or female and have differant voice qualities. Singing in here is Kaito and Miku. They're japanese vocaloids.

They're voices are synthesized but they are actually based on a human voice. Kaito (the male) is an earlier vocaloid so his voice is much more synthesized than Miku's.

At first, I just thought this song was good. That's it. Now that I've been listening to it more and more, I love it even more now. The art in the PV looks gorgeous as well. Yes. When Japanese, "garasu no kutsu" is translated literally, it becomes "glass shoes". In Japan, Brüder Grimm version of Cendrillon and Charles Perrault one are most familiar. So I've checked Deutch and French version Wikipedia. Each articles refers "garasu no kutsu" as "Glasschuhe" or "la pantoufle de verre". So I think it's ok. But glass slippers may be better.

First of all, I think Japanese is a very "nuance-language". Lyrics of this song have a lot of metaphor, vague expressions and words difficult to interpret. So I think I can't tell all the nuance of Japanese lyrics in English...

I read composer's postscript when I downloaded this song. This song's story is an original one based the story of "Cinderella". Below, I translate composer's comment partly.
