  • I used to live in SoFla, and I miss it so much. So this was a good recap on it.

  • Hey im going to Miami next week, and wish to re do this drive like your´s in the beginning, IRL. Can you tell me which road it is, with the two sky lines in the horizon ?

  • @ham12388 if i remember correctly, this was filmed going westbound on i-195, the Julia Tuttle causeway

  • I live in Miami, it sucks because of the drivers :P

  • Thanks for sharing this video, I enjoyed it. Perfect choice of music and I love the dusk shot in the beginning.

  • Wish you would do one entirely only driving in the light of the dusk. And still with Robert Palmer in the background. Perfeckt match

  • @ham12388 thanks for the suggestion, and it's Robert Plant.

  • @alexsuchapimp lol always thought people was mistaken, when writing it was Robert Plant.. I also bought the song. And again thought it was the wrong name. Sounds more like a track Robert Palmer would do :) But what a brilliant song it is anyways.

Thank you sir for that correction

  • @alexsuchapimp alexus, thankyou for recording driving through the streets of such an epic city. Its beautiful and i am in agreement, any more of your driving excersions, please record if you can.

  • I'm moving there next year. It's my favorite city in the US.

  • Thank you for this video. I watches it every time i feel down on my luck. And every other time. haha. Nice

    thank you !!!

    bye bye

  • @SpeedManiac1976 glad you liked it

  • @alexsuchapimp Im shipping my Toyota Celica to Miami and driving to Los Angeles next Summer for a two week road trip vacation. Its fully tuned 500bhp and can only take high grade petrol. Given I've never driven across the states before what advise could you give? Im worried about two things...Speeding and finding garages with high grade petrol 97 octane as putting standard gas in the tank is almost is the same as putting diesal in

  • @jamesthq Sounds like a fun trip. Driving from the East coast to the west coast is an awesome trip. However, you're NOT going to be able to get 97 octane gas. The most you can get at ANY gas station is 93 octane. I've lived in the US all of my life, in a number of different places, and I've never seen a gas station with more than 93 octane, save for one Sunoco i saw that had 105 octane gas for $7 a gallon. Also the speeding laws are pretty relaxed here (no speed cameras or anything)

  • @alexsuchapimp thanks its something I've wanted to do since I was 12 and I want to go through New Orleans, Texas, Yosmatie national park, Arizona was going to pop into Mexico but too dangerous. I've spent about £15,000 on the engine and I've always seen the states as a good place for a drive. With my car though you can only put optimax in the tank otherwise it bascially kills it so thats what I was concerned about

  • @jamesthq how much does it cost to ship it?

  • @omaifakingad from Southampton England to Jacksonville which is where they ship £1050 and to ship in a container and get stored in a bonded warehouse so it'l be safe (hopefully) and about £1200 to get it from Los Angeles to Uk again on the return leg. That also includes customs docs and all the paperwork needed. Oh this doesnt include flight tickets as well ect ect.

  • @jamesthq you must really love your car then, lol. why would low octane fuel be so bad? what's your budget for the whole trip? I have something similar in mind, for after I relocate abroad, start working and have enough savings. Seems so distant now that I put it in writing. :)

@alexsuchapimp: how is 93 the "highest" you can get? are you sure about this? seems very unlikely to me.

  • @omaifakingad just spoken to the car shop and taking my car in to do a second blueprint done on the ecu (motec) so my car can take lower gas. Its cause its been tuned to take high grade petrol/gas and if you put standard in it'l be the same as putting diesal. Its the way the engine ticks over and works once you tune it. I've had a full engine build on a GTFOUR and had it swapped into my Celica its on my home page if you wana take a look. Budget is about £6000 but just something I want to do

  • @jamesthq please make sure you film your trip ! bon voyage, man, enjoy it.

  • @omaifakingad cheers dude I aim to make sure the car runs fine before I head over there though and I'm getting 3 camera's one on the front bumper, one on the rear spoiler and one on the dash with a in car pc which will be able to record a full weeks worth. When I get back I'll get my friend who's great at editing video's to do a good proffesional job. I've always wanted to do a video simular to the Gran turismo 3 intro for some reason

  • Could you tell me the title of the first song?

  • @CostaDK It's "Big Log" By Robert Plant

  • @alexsuchapimp

    Thx..!!

I was in Miami summer 2009 and I miss it. Love the city. :-)

  • I wonder how many of those cars have cocaine in them. lol

  • @binka21

most run on ordinairy gasoline i think though ;-)

  • Comment removed

  • Its funny how crappy miami as a city really is.

"nigga we dont fuck around" is this cities motto..

or maybe its "BITCH ILL KILL YOU!"

  • now this is what i visioned miami to be like with the sunset

  • @MrCHEECHB

yeah very pretty aint it, like theres some kind of glow or something over the city & all :)

  • the best city ive seen in my life.

    greetz from germany

  • this video was edited on a mac wasnt it? great video!

  • @tylercj No; I used windows movie maker

  • @alexsuchapimp ur kidding?!?! how did u cancel out the sound of the video, in order to replace it with a different song? i have tried to figure this out soo many times. this is one of the biggest reasons why i wanna go to a macbook pro. if u have time, u have to show me how u did that!! thanks

  • Nice video,I had no idea Miami is so beautiful. Was the first part recorded at dusk or dawn?Great choice with Mr. Plant!!

  • @whipit4me It was recorded in the evening. I was driving home and decided the traffic made it possible to film a video.

  • thank you

  • Awesome!!

  • Miami is a cool city!

  • how warm is it in the winter in Miami?

  • It's been quite cold this winter, but on average its about 55-75F. Some days in winter gets up to 80, but others it;s about 55. On the coldest days I wear a sweater and that's enough,

  • @alexsuchapimp thats quite hot for winter lol, so winter in miami is a little cooler (a little) than a summer here in norway, last winter it was -5F

  • @andre4GBRAM norway is trash

  • @alexsuchapimp hahaha i agree, but our healthsystem thingy is good :D

  • listen to "the beach boys - i get around" while watching this :)

  • No way, Beach Boy's are butt pirates!

  • Beautifully, at that time with me in Poland were a lot of snow and there was no mention of such excursions ... cool

  • Much less than half of Miami is cuba 33% is cuban.

  • I just turned on my speakers and realized it has a music soundtrack, too. Great choice of music! The second part of the vid is South Beach, right?

  • Probably the best city skyline in the world. Skyscrapers , sunset, palm trees and turquoise water.

  • It's nice in Miami. There are a few poorer, more dangerous neighborhoods like Little Havana, but it's a good city on the whole. There's usual city rush-hour traffic on the major roads but nothing like in the New York metro area.

  • What you mean little Havana is dangerous, thats more like allapata or liberty city

  • True that

  • Opa Loca, Coconut Grove, Crown Heights..

  • @alexsuchapimp i was just there man. its kai bye the way. whats up. florida is awesome!

  • Little Havana is not at all dangerous, I'd say it's not even right to imagine it being dangerous... its actually a really nice neighborhood...

  • i'm going to Miami next yearr

  • omg miami looks so nice, i so want to move as soon as i graduate HS ugh so tell me how is it over there?? is there always traffic or what lol?? tell me evrything about Miami please hehehe im from New Jersey City
