  • I enjoyed Your short Movie

  • wow i feel nostalgic, the first porn before internet.

  • These R Not Erotic sculptures...but they r showing daily life style. They R also not X rated....all Media People limelighted them on Sex subject. One must know life style of that period & that life style still continuous with every Human on the Globe.

They portray that, for seeing the deity, one must leave his or her sexual desires outside the temple.

  • If you like this sample clip, please consider watching the complete, free video of this trip, "The Intrepid Berkeley Explorer Passes Through India and Nepal". You need a broadband internet connection. Ask a search engine for: Intrepid Berkeley Explorer

  • Indians don't blow up themselves to kill innocents. Only Pakis and Muslims do that. So STFO.

  • @lnpkural

ru sure?ltte were hindus in srilanka & they blow themselves up to kill as many srilanks as possible & one of ur own prime minister was blown into pieces by a hindu ltte suicide bomber.

idiot, india is a land of genocide & it all started quite early.one of the hindu king ashoka actually renounce his hindu faith & became buddhist bcoz of its violent & intolerable nature against other human beings(shudras) low cast ppl of india.

    what about mahabharat?full of killing.

  • is that sex with animals at 3:11 ?

  • yeah, right animal sex at it fullest. :)

  • YA YA , sex with everything ,

they used to put it on statue

  • why not?

  • Pre-Sin India before invasions. Tantra being formed. Peace riches from trade, not war. Mahayana Mysticism-later spreading West to Hassids, Sufi's, & todays Hippies! Cultural plastic tautologies: building overcoming gravity/ sex overcoming gravity/ meditation the same. Corgruence to soul-form of balanced male & female Emanations. Today Fuel Free Transport from Solar transform plus magnetic-field rotations = conception on a magic carpet. Kabbalah & Arabian Nights confirmed!

  • @PhotonDrive

    AND no cellphones :)

  • I want to go there so badly!

  • It's sad that a good number of us who are from the land near the Sindhu river (Hindus) are unaware of the long history behind our tradition, values and cultures, perhaps it will all fall into place one day. Misinterpretations on comparisons with the present social surroundings will then be discarded.

  • One of theories from historians is that the population of that kingdom was decreasing. Afraid of being the greying society they decided to teach the citizens how to do sex. When women do parikrama(circumambulation) around temple they would notice all these steps. There were no websites/magazines in those days to show people how to do it. Sex when done for creating progeny is not seen as bad. Besides nothing is sin, there are just consequences of each action.

  • as per your theory they should be teavhing sex all over eastern europe today

  • u have to got to give it the westerners for their convoluted thinking...ignorance is bliss. The caption says...X-rated heritage site!what blasphemy?...without understanding saiva siddanta..these people just go up making stories...so many well meaning hindus try to put this into perspective and yet these people of the abrahamic world can't really see it...no wonder they cant ...or won't see it

  • I generally agree with the above sentiments, but plead innocent to blasphemy. Uploading this particular clip means running into possible censorship or placement in the "adult" section. It was reasonable, perhaps necessary, to be completely honest about the clip's contents from a "western" perspective. Abrahamic world "truth in packaging".

  • @intrepberkexplorer agree with hasruni, except there's no blasphemy in Hinduism, which differentiates it from Abrahamic religions.

  • did you ever see shaiva sidhanta in the body of a pornstar? if you did not you have no right to say that you know about it.

  • To understand the so-called weird part..remember what has Buddha said..Everything is what it is, it's completely itself. We assign it labels..2 is 2 and 3 is 3, we make 3 greater than 2 and 2 less than 3. So nothing weird or "sinful" about sex or the positions..they just are, we assign it value. Secondy, from a metaphorical point everywhere we see there is a divine dance and sex going on, which results in different manifestations. If you stop judging and open your inner eyes, you might "get it"

  • Indian women are so damned sexy!

  • I guess that sex is on the outside but why put it there at all? These guys were very horny.

  • It come from the Vedas ancient hindu texts

Its is reffered to as Tantric Yoga is based on the belief that the Universe is made up of Yin-Yang (Female-Male) principles, and that these Yin-Yang energies are also contained within the human body. Through the study of the Tantras (sacred sexual teachings), we gain awareness and mastery over our subtle energy body and creative sexual energy flows.

  • and i thought japanese were weirder LOL.

    Beastality LOL.

  • Surprisngly even bestiality was depicted here. Sex was natural and free in expression in hindu culture till colonial rulers brought victorian values. A shloka by Great poet Kalidas describes the beauty of breats of goddess Kali!!!

  • it was so untill the mid 12th century....as opposed to when victorian values were induced....the temples were built between 900 and 1150 AD, various invasions led to destruction of these temples as they were not found suitable to the religious beliefs of the invadors...

  • strange!!!!!!!

it is supposed to be a sacred site!!!!

  • Umm, no. What the temple depicts is sin on the outer walls, and purity inside. Waht they don't show you is how plain the interiors are.

  • However Vinayji, in Sanatana dharma we do not anywhere think of sex as "sin"..It's the Abrahamic religions which have all these conceptions (or misconceptions)..

  • Sex, is not sin. However, the kind of sex depicted on the outer walls of this temple is certainly sin. That's the method used to draw contrast. The insides of the temple are bare and plain, to symbolise internal purity. The carvings outside were intended to be vulgar.

  • I differ a bit. Not with the intent of criticising, just placing the record right...In prachin India, sex was not considered unnatural, we thought it was aesthetic and there were no psychological baggage with trying different positions etc...In fact Kalidasa has written very erotic poetry on Kali Devi's Breasts! However we did have rules on adultery and incest as well as appropriate punishment for that(re: manusmriti)..the rest was recommendations only. Not considered vulgar or sinful.

  • You have a misconception that Sex cannot be sacred.

  • there is a very essential teaching in this. SEX is on the OUTSIDE, inside is a place to meditate. Remember sex in on the outside
