  • poor squirrel. class vid beats a lot of shit on the tv right now

  • how the fuck did i get to this video.

  • This is brilliant!

  • Mr Pike, you should know to never get ideas from movies :<

  • your vidoes are fuckin' creepy

  • wow !!! it's scary !!!

  • this is awesome! i actually have a fox with antlers mask that i wear! i love this!

  • I love taxidermy, but your films make me apprehensive to face the mounts in my basement.

    Beautiful short films.

  • Kudos for including the Nosferatu clips.

I love all the work you're doing with stuffed animal heads. You manage to express a surprising ammount with them alone.

  • This is the most unique thing I've seen in awhile. Loved it!

  • You make the best taxidermy movies. Just makes me want to kill my neighbour's dog, send it your way and see what sort of video you will make with it.

  • I think Im doing a pretty good job on my first no budget feature so far...but Im gunna say if you pull together a feature length...we are looking at the next David Lynch!

  • with talent like that, you could have an amazing future. keep it up.

  • Excellent work Mr. Swinton.

I thought Mr. Fox was the sh*t, but this one managed to somehow blow it out of the water.

This film catered quite well to my taste for irony.

  • Excellent film! Loved it!

  • And I again, I have to say: I would be proud to host you stuff in even better quality, no matter how big it is. Awesome, mate :-)

    Regards,

    Lucas

  • This is absolutely wonderful.

  • Great film! It has a bit of a Wladyslaw Starewicz feel to it, while still being completely original. Can't wait to see your next one.

  • WOW, that was amazing! I loved the old film feel to it, and the stop motion added a really freaky sweetener!

    Great sound design too.

  • ...AWESOME. I liked Mr. Fox little bit better but this is also an epic win! I love the quality!

  • This looks so good, what camera was this shot on? I can tell you know what you're doing. I wish you lots of luck and success with your filmmaking adventure.

  • Hi, thanks very much, shot on a DVX100b.

  • @swintex yeah, so how is it on 720p HD? did u blow it up via that "instant HD" plugin?

gotta say u nailed that vintage look.

besides following that forum's "Film Grain" discussion..what other effects did you use to recreate the filmy feel? some flickering of the brightness or something..etc?

  • @eladbari It was scaled up to 720p in sony vegas. The flicker is inherent in the grain as it goes from frame to frame.
