People who enjoy drawing spend that much time drawing (not necessarily in one setting). Thats what is referred to as a hobby. Or, in this case, a source of income.

Almost accurate? The movie was actually not similar at all. The mountain pass was only big enough for 1-2 people to pass through side by side and the spartans were at the top and threw stones and shot arrows at them while passing through. They never faced the persian army head on because they would obviously lose.

Also, one of the reason why Immortals were called like that is because they would carry the body of their fallen comrades after a fight. So, when someone would get on the battlefield after the fight, they wouldn't find any fallen immortals. They would then believe that they were still all alive.

The Battle of Thermopylae was intended to funnel the Persians's forces so the Spartans could attack them at an equal level. While Themistocles, an Athenian general, was constantly winning naval battles despite him being outnumbered, King Leonidas ordered a tactical retreat, leaving his 300 men and a small other handful of troops left. They were betrayed by the man mentioned in the video, and that led to their defeat. However, the retreat gave the Greeks time to eventually smash the Persians.

there was greece soldiers (from athene and other cities (i don't know the plural for polis)) and 300 spartans. They decided to retreat, but spartans stayed because theire "ritual" was never to retreat from a battle

I wouldn't say it's that accurate :P I mean, there were 3000 greeks, 300 spartans (true), but still 7000 total greeks. And Xerxes didn't use ANY archers until the end cause he was trying to honor the greek style of combat (pretty big props for that, an invader trying to play by their rules). But, playing by their rules is what cost him like 10,000+ soldiers out of his 100,000 to 300,000 (numbers are debated). So ya, it wasn't REALLY accurate, but whatever.

I believe the show you were refering to Zooc was "Deadliest Warrior" one of my favourite shows of late. And yeah I believe The Immortals were on that show, can't quite remember which episode though. Was so pissed when the Viking lost out to the Samurai or whatever XD
