How do you know its a Sylvari Tree? I have been past this tree many a time. Does look mystical and solo on the island..

i think only anet knows the anser atm, but it is possible, that they dont have a real kind of gender, because they grow as a kind of plant.

Sylvari are both genders, and also include 4 different "Types" of Sylvari. There are Winter Sylvari, Spring Sylvari, Summer Sylvari, and Autumn Sylvari. Depending on the type you choose, you will have a different questing experience and appearance. However, skills and techniques are not limited to a single type, meaning that regardless of what you choose, you will have access to all the skills you would have if you had chosen any other type.

Were is this what outpost to you go out of?

You actually go out of Vlox Falls (from the Enter the North Chapter of GW) head south, cross a tiny island and stay in the water that leads southwest thru many mesmer windriders. Pass a rez shrine and enter the island that u come upon and in the center is the tree :) Happy travels! :)

u know, i think its strange those who creat GW 2 putted in a new race, the Sylvari, why dont just put in the dwarfs? they use Asura and Charr but not the dwarfs. i mean, insted of create a totaly new race

The concept artists must have come up with some new design and someone decided to kill the dwarves. The Sylvari seem to have some elven traits, so maybe there was some great dwarves vs. elves debate in the office and someone came in yelling "Sylvariiiiii!!!"

Dream within a dream is dead-on! This was a remarkable and fantastic trip you took us through! Stunning and beautiful. Massive jungles, giant plants, mysterious denizens, and a ray of light shining through a small opening in the bivowac-like opening to the forest canopy. It was magical to say the least! This must be where all the world's wishes come from. To go there and steal one might be quite perilous indeed, yet no less rewarding. Absolutely brilliant once again Queen Kitiara.
