Afghanistan actually encompasses territory that belongs to us (the territory all the way up to the borders of Kabul and Kandahar as evidenced by Babur himself in his memoirs).

@Paghmani1sher, not all Pashtuns on the East of the (illegal) Durrand Line consider themselves the subjects of Islamabad. Of course in places like Peshawar and especially in the media, the Jinnah-worshipers are promoted but the rural areas (which form the majority) have no affiliation to Pakistan and its Punjabi culture and ideology.

@Paghmani1sher, there is no difference between the terms Pashtun and Afghan, they mean one and the same thing. Every Pashtun is an Afghan but not all Afghans are Pashtuns. Similarly, "Pashtunistan" is a term used only for all the places where Pashtuns live but as a future state, it is not viable. In 1947, Bachaa Khan wanted to create a "Pashtunistan" out of "NWFP" so that he could later rejoin Afghanistan after the British departure but unfortunately, he couldn't succeed.
