this is referring to my other comment, now they also have purex, arctic power, tide and many other brands that are designed to work in coldwater. usually regular detergent will get the job done in cold water too. a good way to not use hot water is to turn off the hot faucet and get a splitter tap for the cold hookup and hook both of the inlet faucets that run to the washer into the splitter. i like to save energy as much as i can but i do not recommend any HE Washers as they are junk.
ooxford14 is correct. The amounts called for by the manufacturer are designed to sell more detergent. Using half of the reccomended amount will be adequate for normally soiled garments. Heavily soiled garments may require a larger amount, but using less detergent will save you a lot of money and it's better for the environment.
Lots of good advice here. I do two things differently, though. If you haven't already started making your own laundry powder (3 ingredients, cleans like crazy) or you can't change from the manufactured stuff, please don't use as much as it says on the label. Some washer problems, according to a repair man I know, are the result of using more soap than necessary. Same goes for dishwashers. Use about half of what the product label dictates.
Also, hot for just bedlinens. Cold is best instead
Do not use hot water !!! we need to use all the coldwater that we can you could just use tide coldwater because of alot of reasons. and dont think that it willnot get clean in cold water but it really does clean!!!
have a question here i handwash my tshirts with laundry detergent but one of my tshirts show white marks and glows under fluro lights is it because of the product im using?
you arent getting all the wash liquid out. and you may be using too much. i do the same thing and had the same problem. i cut back on the amount of wash liquid and i rinsed it alot better. and that fixed my problem. hope that helps. =)
Nobody is perfect. Compare this to a presentation. She's doing YOU a favour by explaining helpful laundry tips. There's no need to be over-analytical. You're not Simon Cowell.
My brother, He doesn't even seprate the whites fro mthe darks. and takes everything out of the hamper and into the basket in chunks. and throws it in the washing machinee doesn't turn anything inside out and put it on heavy duty setting, that how my drawing strings come out and my clothes fade. and harden, I hate that.
so what happened to darks?? i mean yeh u have whites colours but what about darks. also what about different fabrics. i mean she talks about delicate settings but according to her your only ever gonna have two loads. i mean ur not gonna put everything of whites or colours in delicate just because theres one delicate item. so it should be darks colours whites , towels, bedding and also by fabric.
why does she say "of course" so often? if someone's watching this video, it's obviously not an of course moment...they don't know how yet! common, derrr
Some other tips are putting a few tennis balls in the dryer. This will help reduce the amount of time to dry while fluffing bulkier items.
I also add white vinegar in during the rinse cycle as a natural fabric softner. Don't worry it doesn't leave any odor!

I use a magnetic laundry system by Life Miracle. I hardly ever use detergent, only a tbsp or so with really dirty laundry.

I never hardly buy Tide.I don't feel like paying $ 14 for a big thing of it.I usually use Gain or something cheap store brand.

Anxiety or nervousness from being on camera can cause symptoms of hyperventilation. Any way she did a good job.

Not a big deal but I would replace the cardboard boxes with plastic tubs of some kind. Looks and seems tacky.
