This is the movie but they re-dubed it.

These are not the same voices on the orignal. The boys name was Jan (yan) not John.

And there was no funky songs like the opening or the "snow queen song".

Grew up with this one. If I'd first seen this dub as an adult I'd hate it. But as a kid, I cared more about "Yvette's" journey than I did about the bad acting and incorrect names. Having seen the other versions (the first Eng. dub, which mostly had better acting and kept the names intact, and the original Russian) this version is closest to my heart, despite being very flawed.

LOVE the tacky theme song. I'd love it even if it didn't have nostalgic value for me. It's cheesy. Cheese is yummy.

Omg! I finally found the right verson! I have been looking everywhere for this! I found the Snow Queen on ebay but I got it and it had some stupid christmas thing opening it and the music was wrong. I've been trying to find all the english versions to see if I can find this one. Is this one the "Stories From My Childhood" version released in 1999? Please someone answer me cause I don't want to order it off ebay and get it and it be the wrong version again.
