Thanks, this really helped, but I'm still a little confused on something. For the top picture that shows the notes in order on the bar, it doesn't display all of the notes from the guitar picture, are those just useless? Do they come in later? I'm still kind of new to playing the guitar so can anyone help???
@GrantTudor the reason is because showing all the notes on a 24 fret guitar would be overkill for a diagram where 90% of most beginner chords are within the first 3 frets.
i dont know how to say it. thank you so fucking much this is the only video that shows how to find notes on guitar properly according to sheet music. yes fuck tabs, fuck all the tabs video. i wanna learn real music, thanks dude ur so nice.
What I dont understand is while playing guitar, you dont just play notes, you play chords. I understand how to read all the notes on the sheet music, but how do you make them into chords?
Thanks for taking the time to post this ... I have been looking to read music and could not find any that gave the notes and location on fret board .... Lots of good material here and I a going to watch this video a few times to absorb eveything !!!!!
I'm lost. Ok, let watch it again...and again. Then see if I finally get it. Sorry, I guess I'm a bit slow, especially since I've never played guitar b4 and can't wait to finally play at least 1 song in my life time. TY for the tutorial. ;D
That's a great little tutorial. The only question I have is what happens if the notes are meant to be played further up the neck? How is that explained in notation? As far as I can tell only the first 3 frets and the open strings are covered.
Thanks for making this video it's very kind of you.
Thank you for your instructions. Unfortunately, it is too fast for me as a beginner. I found it little bit confuse at the moment. I will try my best to watch it over and over. Thanks again.

@JoeBlue727 there are unisons on guitar. so a note on a music staff can actually be played at multiple postions on the neck in some cases
