Chinese around the world protest against Taiwan separatists. Even as small as Hong Kong, people protest against Taiwan separatists. Chinese in Canada protests against Taiwan separatists. Chinese in US also protests against Taiwan separatists.

The British in America do not care what the British in Britain want because they are not American. Chinese in Taiwan want independence, Chinese in Taiwan will not heed to what other people think because they are not Taiwanese. It is not about ethnicity, it is about nationality.
