Once upon a time I knew how to import/customize map sprites. But I never actually edited one and so I never remembered how. And so it drifted off into obscurity.
The end.
There, did you like the super-surprise-twist-ending?
If you want realistic battle animations, go to the SNES Fire Emblems. But in the GBA FEs, the attack animations are like exaggerated, cartoonish metaphors of real bloody combat. The spriter simply exaggerated the stereotypical frailty of women and made it ironic by making her a wielder of the heaviest weapon type in the game.
She looks anorexic. Please give her food.

poor thing, maybe she should put down those heavy axes and pick up a spatula

Biggest problem I see is that the axe swings don't look like she's going full force. It's like she's just kinda lazily waving them.

That doesn't looke that good to me. Looks like a zombie pirate more than a female pirate

Yeah... this is one sickly starved chick... I'm surprised she could even hold one axe :(
Someone throw her some beef. Give her vulneraries!

I say the spriter hit this one out of the park.

@HisuroKun
Even if they're exaggerated, it doesn't excuse the fact that the sprite does look a little bare and kinda... malnutritioned.
If it was more like Ninian, I'd see the joke. atm, it looks more like a corpse.
