We do have some original movies, and we have some intellectual movies. Making films is not only about entertaining the audience, it's also about educating them, since our society is so heavily reliant on everything technology offers. So what if Madhur is not making masaledaar movies which show the actors breaking into a song and dance every 15 minutes? I don't mind seeing movies that are an eye-opener; like Aamir made TZP, peepli live etc.

And Hollywood is not behind in copying movies, btw.

this is a human rights movie and i honestly dont think its a copy of english movies also english movies copy japanese the movie is never said to be a copy on wikipedia and unlike hollywood, bollywood gives credit by saying based on the hollywood movie yadi yadi also the movie was really good a change and dont give me this western bs i'd much rather watch k3g etc but yeah bollywood has changed idk why to be honest i still wish movies like in the 90's came out but madhur makes good movies

@kunalp89 The Western Style of Cinema Making is definitely the better approach. Intellectual members of Indian Society are sick & tired of seeing these stupid None-Sensical Plot Bollywood Movies like 3 Idiots, Om Shanti Om - Which have awful scripts and songs in almost every scene.

If they are making more serious films like Jail or Johnny Gaddaar or Chandi Bar then that is only a good thing not a bad thing.

@ib422000 You make no sense pal. This Film doesn't have anything to do about copying the West. It's about an innocent man who is wrongly persecuted & sent to jail and the turmoils he has to go through during that traumatic time.

If you mean they should make every Bollywood Movie with awful scripts, stupid dance numbers, with awful actors like Hrithik Roshan or Shahrukh Khan then that is just stupid. It's about time India started taking a more 'smart' approach in film making

Even the beautiful music and enchanting songs played an integral role in the overall plot and story of movies, back when art was sacred.

Maybe you should have a reality check because other than a few cultural differences in most ways India is completely westernised anyway.
