More than just mere character mistreatment, this one REALLY tears me apart like It's Your First Kiss did everyone else for two reasons:
A. It was my first Peanuts special. Nestled between the two Broadway adaptations! Mm! Either way, off by one special! So close!
B. Off by one year according to You're A Good Man. This one premiered...in 1986!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MY BIRTH YEAR! THEY PRACTICALLY CURSED ME MONTHS BEFORE I WAS BORN!!!!!!!!!!
