  • Do you remember all of those seasons where he had over 20 passing touchdowns and 3400 passing yard. He had a bundle of em (1). He is way better than Brady, Brees and Manning. All they do is consistantly get 35+ touchdown passes a season and 4000 passing years. He averaged 2745 passing yards, less than 14 passing touchdowns and 12 interceptions. Aikman is way better than those guys. Him winning 3 super bowls didn't have anything to do with Emmitt Smith.

  • Little Tom Brady over Troy Aikman? lol....just east coast arrogance that can't stand seeing southerners do very well.

  • i dont think the first minute are highlights..

  • whts the name of he song???

  • Fucking awesome QB! Remember I saw him on 91 - 96 seasons. And the 3 SB's... Legendary!!!

  • Quarterbacks of this caliber are gone forever. There is no way the likes of Tom 'Baby' Brady, Payton Manning or Aaaron Rogers could stand in the pocket and take hits like the NFL used to allow on quarterbacks.

  • @imatheqman Tom brady and peyton manning over troy aikman any day

  • Glad to say I'm named after this guy. :D

  • <<< EPIC COWBOYS FAN 4 EVER

  • Aikman was just as good as Tom Brady easy

  • @TheElmur69 no he was better by a long shot

  • @TheElmur69 he's better then Tom Brady

  • @TheElmur69 You can't say that because Brady is still playing

  • Even though the Cowboys had horrible linemen, if troy aikman had a chance to throw the ball he's make a great play...

  • The Cowboys are the greatest team in NFL history, but the team may have forgot that in TEXAS we love being number 1, so come on cowboys let's win more super bowl tittles!!!

  • Troy Aikman is by far one of the greatest QBs in NFL History. No one can deny it, he is the most accurate QB in history, won more games in a ten year span than any QB has three rings and is in the hall of fame. Not to mention his leadership on and off the field and was one of the most feared QBs in the game. If you hate Dallas thats fine but dont take away anything from this legend of the gridiron

  • young was the better #8

  • @dirtydozenbitch2 Wrong, and it's not even close

  • Troy Aikman wasn't the best ever but he was no scrub,

  • troy aikman is a great QB no matter what they say 3 superbowls and one of the greatest ever to lace them up

  • The anti-Aikman "experts" say that Aikman was nothing but an average QB who won 3 SB's only because he had a dominant running game with Emmitt Smith. Why then, did the Lions not even MAKE IT to the SB with Barry Sanders, who was among the NFL leaders in rushing EVERY season? Why did the Bears, with the great Walter Payton and that great defense win ONLY ONE Super Bowl? Please, allow me to tell you why: Its because the Lions and the Bears HAD AVERAGE QB's unable to win multiple SB's.

  • @3ringsAIKMAN well said man well said

  • @hillocknessmonster Thanks monster. Here's a perfect example to prove Aikman's value to Dallas: During the Cowboys' SB run, if Emmitt and Barry Sanders had switched teams, the Cowboys would STILL win 3 SB's in 4 yrs because Aikman is the QB....However, the Lions would still have fallen short with Emmitt BECAUSE their QB would have been Scott Mitchell ( or Eric Hipple...I'm not quite sure). Either way, the Lions sure as hell don't win 3 SB's in 4 yrs.

  • @3ringsAIKMAN i agree but if barry sanders had the O line dallas had back then

you have more than 3 rings im talking 4 in a row

  • @glencoe428 no you dont. runners like barry never win championships for a reason because you need tough between the tackles runners who will grind out first downs, pass block, be a force on goalline runs, and take what the defense gives without running for negative yards while trying to break the homerun play (which kills drives since it puts the offense in 2nd and long and 3rd and long. emmitt showed up biggest in the biggest moments and he could do all those things i mentioned, barry coundnt

  • @22steve5150 Barry was strong dude

just because emitt has the most yards does not make him the best

i mean Barry had 2000 yards on the crap lions

  • The only negative attribute about him is that he played for the UCLA Ruins.

  • This might sound crazy but Kevin Kolb reminds me of Aikman. Honestly, same body type, same arm etc......really close comparion. I hope the Eagles give him a chance to be a great QB like Aikman was.

  • HE IS MY HERO AND I LOVE THIS SONG!!

  • i could not have asked for a better video.

  • EMMITT SMITH BAD TIPPER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • razingerm is prob to young to understand that it is not just stats that make a great qb, it is leadership and the ability to turn up to the big games. Aikman has the most wins in a decade than nany qb. Plus 3 rings, so razingerm is just jealous of the greatest pro football team.

  • stud.

  • stud.

  • how do you guys like my vid?

  • Troy was more accurate than Tom Brady hands down he's 3/3 n superbowls witta 70% completion that's amazing. I'm far from a cowboy fan but I luv aikman he was great n big games

  • @jmaal2345 jmaal2345 you are a true football fan unlike raningerm. Yep Troy was one of the best, we could all argue wjho is the very best but troy is up there amongest them.

  • Roger was damn good

  • my hero

    the worlds greatest !!!!!!

  • troys 6 probowl selections to chads none, superbowl MVP oh and of course troys 3 superbowls in 4 years to chads hmm lets see oh thats right a big fucken 0, and besides at the end of the day its not about stats its about what QB did more for his team through his career troy did a lot for the cowboys, what the fuck has pennington ever done for his team

  • @ ranzingerm, first of all you're a fucken fag, and second you dont seem to relize that towards the end of troys career he had suffered from a bout 9 concussions i dont care how good you that would take its toll on anyone, and as got better numbers lets examin that should we, chads 102 touchdowns to troys 165 hmmm... chads 17,804 yards to troys 32,942 again hmmmm... troy retired with a rating of 81.6 chads rating today is only 90.1 not that much better for an active player

  • Troy Might not have had all the Great Stats as all these Poster Boy QB's These days, But he was a Great leader Motivator, And A true winner...

  • ranzingerm has to watch DALLAS COWBOY HIGHLIGHTS because he is probably one of those guys who switches teams every year to whom ever won the superbowl the previous year......I LOVE BEING A DALLAS FAN no matter what kind of season they have or who plays on the team.......BE A FAN!!!

  • COWBOYS!!

  • @smart03ras Yeah! I live in New York City and have the Cowboys star tat on my left arm. Troy was one of the great ones. I can only imagine had he stayed free of the concussions how much better he could've had or had we gotten Parcells earlier on because as he said the Chan Gailey & Campo years were the worst.

  • @smart03ras Hell yeah! Cowboys can lose every game for the next 10 years and I'll still love them.

  • Hey ranzingerm, No football player that makes the Hall of fame is over rated-period. Look how quickly he made it in.

You must be a sorry ass Redskins fan.

  • when chad pennington has better carrer numbers than you you know hes over rated.

  • @ranzingerm u mean underrated, cause that doesn't make sense.

  • hahahaha

  • @mikens1 haha. the deadskins are the biggest try hards in the NFL

  • get over yourselves please! Troy Aikman is By far the most over rated qb in nfl history. he threw for over 20 td's one season! thats it! every other season he averaged 14 to 19 tds thats pathetic. a half way decent qb today averages around 20 to 25 tds a year. he also 3 to 4 first ballot hall of famers on his team smith irvin sanders argueably the best ever at their positions maybe not irvin but hes up their. The cowboys had the best offensive line ever on that team too

  • idiot the cowboys of the 90s were a RUNNING TEAM why do you think troy didnt get more touchdowns retard emmitt was always getting the ball and aikman is UNDER rated so you can fuck off you fagget.

  • u idiots r just prvong my point. troy aikman didnt have to do a damn thing he got on a team with 3 first ballot hall of famers. My point is this, you look at the all-time greats like peyton, favre, young, brady u put those guys on another team and they still put up hall of fame numbers. You put Troy aikman on another team, he's just another forgotten qb with mediocre numbers.

  • :| now YOUR proving our point look at brady is he doing as good as he was 2 seasons ago? NO look at his team now look at how many veterans they lost u jackass troys the best BOTTOM LINE.

  • Brady is 5th rank qb in the nfl dip shit 100.4 qb rating hes doing just fine. 15 and 6 is nothing to be proud of

  • @ranzingerm Your a complete dumbass. The reason his numbers arent that amazing is because the Cowboys actually had a running game with Emmit Smith. Peyton, Brady do not have a running game!! They have big numbers because they are forced to throw A LOT

  • 1989- 9 td 11 int, 1990 - 11 td 18 int, 1991- 11 td 10 int, 1992- 23 td 14 int, 1993- 15 td 6 int, 1994- 13 td 12int, 1995- 16 td 7 int, 1996- 12 td 13 int, 1997- 19 td 12 int, 1998- 12 td 5 int, 1999- 17 td 12 int 2000- 7 td 14 int.....................fuckin pathetic i wish this clown went to a different team, wouldn't even in hall of fame, people wouldn't even remember his name.

  • 1993- 15 td 6 int :| SIX PICS RETARD lets see you go into the NFL and do better YOUR fukin pathetic. and one more thing if you dont like troy why would you look up a video of his highlights and talk shit? FAGGET

  • to piss of cowboy fans such as yourself and to let them know their favorite qb of all time was garbage.

  • just stop talking get a life redskins fan fagget

  • @ranzingerm if he was elected to the hall of fame in both pro and college football, won three super bowls, was a super bowl mvp, can throw 4 touchdown passes in a super bowl, be elected to a pro bowl 6 times then you're not a bad qb

  • @ranzingerm Those are some interestin numbers bruh. I not too big on Troy Aikman myself. I personally believe that Drew Brees in my opinion at only 5'11'' or 6'0'' would have did wonders for the cowboys with his accuracy completing at 70.6% in which when you round it off, 71% with 34 Touchdowns and only 11 Interceptions with over 4,500+ yards like he did with the Saints the year they won a Superbowl with a weak running game with and Up and Down Pierre Thomas, similar to emmitt smith--

  • --in terms of making plays based upon tenacity and a Dominant Offensive Lineman although Emmitt is better than Thomas, I would have love to See how Drew Brees would have tagged out against Steve Young in the 1994-95 NFC Championship. Imaging Drew Brees going 39/60 from the Field against The 49ers Defense, they probably would have won. I personally like Michael Vick as my Favorite QB, but I also like Peyton Manning, Aaron Rodgers, Josh Freeman and etc. I think Rodgers could be better than Aikman.

  • --To all of the Cowboys fans out there, i'm just stating my perspective ya dig? nothing personal, just a Observer of the NFL and the NBA also.

  • @ranzingerm he clearly didn't need to throw touchdowns

  • @ranzingerm To be a true fact is was underrated you dumbass. I'm just pissed off now cause you're a fucking hater. Coming into the 1989 season Troy led his team to a 1-15 season, and people just knew he was a terrible QB but the next season is brought his team from the absolute worst to the absolute best. FYI Overrated means, someone who isn't as good as people thought he was. Underrated is, someone who is better than people thought he was. That describes Troy Aikman.

  • He was the most underrated QB of all time. He doesn't get enough credit he deserves.

  • 70's cowboys, skip then years, then 90's cowboys, skip ten years, NOW OUR CURRENT COWBOYS CANT SCREW UP THE TRADITION, EVERY TEN YEARS

  • LOL i'm a cowboys fan, but you aren't a math major are you?

  • @crazedripper We should be good in the 2010s, then 2030s, 2050s etc.

  • Aikman was/is one of the greatest of all time. He had everything a coach would want in a QB. I think his rookie year cut his career short. He started on a bad team and ended on a bad team. But everything in betwen was great. I miss watching him. He made it look easy.

  • My god the man was accurate, and had a strong arm. He had everything, but maybe speed. Give troy time like Roth gets and he could still be one of the best at 41?

  • Modest speed
