To LamecomicsINC: I'm sure you are aware that movies also use music, which often enhances drama and conflict. I actually attended this performance, and several people in the audience were brought to tears, so I encourage you to keep an open mind.
Sorry but i think it being a musical... ruins the whole point of it. What makes it such a great story is the drama and conflict, the reality of Lennie and Georges struggle just doesn't exist in a stupid musical. The movie captured the essence of the book.
