CORRECTION...after na magamit ang soap, dapat ang towel nasa baba ng soap dish pag ilalagay na sa CHN bag.. to avoid dripping of water and contaminate the articles inside ;)
at sana me mga rationale kasi kelangan namin terror pa naman C.I namin kelangan ng rationale...
Hmmm close enough sa tinuro samin :) this is pretty helpful though. Tulad nga ng sabi ng iba, the new bag technique includes a paper lining na sa ilalim ng cover, pero it's still almost the same XD, so yeah thanks!
Oh and, iba yung pagkakatiklop ng paper receptacle samin...di nga namin nakuha kung pano eh, mas madali to. haha
ai diba dapat yung used na towel tsaka yung soap ang soap dish nan dun lang sa sink di na dapat ipatung pa uli sa plastic lining kasi contaminated na yun ei so di na sterile yung area mo....
ung cornucopia dapat nkahiwalay diba sa working area ksi waste product ang nilalagay dun eh.. so macocontaminated yang working area pg nilagyan na ung curnocopia ng dumi
i think that plastic lining is not good enough for the working area..there should be also a towel lining..right..for a good working area in doing some care..but i like the last part, it was very helpful also... :-)
I think he meant which articles are supposed to be placed on what kind of lining. My also taught me different. There's a new DOH book and I think the policies there are a bit stricter when it comes to cleanliness.
Nice video though. The last two tutorials were very helpful.
Although there have been a lot of changes in bag technique in FEU IN. Most of the procedures in this video violate current policies especially the beginning parts.
Although other institutions may use this, I advise FEU SNs not to follow this one. And yes, I agree that its our CIs responsibility to teach us. So keep updated! :D
I appreciate your comments. However, you have to be specific as to what particular aspects are not correct or as you say "violates". If you just make general statements it creates more confusion than clarification. Secondly, the whole video may have been done in FEU but it is based on the DOH book that was current as of the time the video was made.
actually DjRoguefire is correct because, the hand towel should be place on top of the soap dish because the soapdish is already contaminated... =) Well, we have different procedures, just follow what is said by your own schools or clinical instructors...... hehehe... imao! God bLEss... hehe
This video was created and later on posted to supplement your studies. Realizing that procedures are best learned visually, thus this video. However, we believe that it is your CI's responsibility to teach you this in case there are Q&A's. It is called a return demonstration in the context that it was demonstrated to you first. At any rate please tell your classmates of this free resource.
hey im a nursing student and i just want to ask why there was only one plastic linen taken out during the first procedure? isn't it that there are supposed to be four?
Thank you for your comment, the procedure may vary according to institutions implementing it. If the procedure as you know it is has reasons/rationale based on a documented source, that you are required to use 4 plastic linens, then that should be alright.
Very Graceful and helpful. thank you so much.

I see. At that time there were no recommendations as to what articles were to be placed in what kind of lining as there was only one kind of lining.

I think he meant all those procedures involving which items to put in what kind of lining. My school taught us differently too.
The new procedure is a bit more strict with cleanliness. Nice video though.
I especially liked the last two tutorials. :)
