  • excellent video and thanks for sharing.

  • Hello

I plan to do the same trip this november. So i think you are from seattle too?!

I have some questions about the route, Motels and nice things to watch on the trip. It would be nice if you can contact me. thomgeissler@gmail.com

Plz erase this after reading! Thank you very much.

    Thomas

  • love the vid.!! cant get the song outta my head!! cheers from vienna!! ps: im doing the same trip next summer!!

  • Very nice. I liked it.

Look in the youtube "Go Pro in a 18 wheeler".

    Take care,

    Marcos

  • How did you mount the camera?

  • No way, I was in San fransico the same weekend to see greenday

  • My mom and I are actually thinking about moving to San Francisco from Seattle. I was wonder what route you took. If you could send me a message with the fastest route to SF that would rock. Is it best to just stay on interstate 5 the whole time? Or is it good to go on the country side roads?

  • @FASSY524 Yeah, we went down I-5 for most of the trip. I hear that the Calif. Coast Highway is gorgeous, but takes a little bit longer.

  • Did you have the get a rig of some kind set up to do the time-lapse photography or is it a feature of the camera?

  • @mountedcop

We simply put the camera on a tripod and weighed it down very tight so it wouldn't move on the bumpy roads. It kind of worked, but it took a few tries to get the setup right.

  • This would have been way better if the camera was mounted on the dash, with more of the view seen and less of the car's interior. Just sayin'.

  • This is a tight video. I would love to do this sometime. How much memory did you go through?

  • @MorrieLow

Hey Morrie, we went through around 24 gigs of photos. We stopped every few hours to unload the pics onto a laptop in the backseat. :1

  • how was the drive, I am looking at this car and the soul, I want this one because more horsepower and fuel economy but I like the soul's interior better on the sport model or burner edition, they are both the same price so which is better for me?

  • @wilburfudd

Its a joy to drive honestly. Fast, great safety features, and its a head turner. If you are equally as concerned with interior and exterior, I'd highly recommend the Forte Koup. And actually, the Soul has the same interior as the Koup.

  • @eclipser69 thanks, when I was talking about the interior I was talking about the red on black and the heat hand, the forte does not have one but you have to press a button to see the digital read out, the soul has the more traditional heat hand that is always present, plus can fit bigger objects in the soul. For me it would be used to drive to school, work and shopping and at some-point i want to buy a big tv that is the main reason the soul is a contender plus i really like the red on black.

  • Sweet! It's funny how your left thumb is noodling the steering wheel the first half of the trip. Noodly noodly noodly. O_o

  • @rettwoods Lol, I think it's because we were changing music tracks and the volume. :)
