It gained 15whp on the dyno with the cutout open. However the cutout always leaked, so even with it closed it was making more power than before it was installed.

How much displacement you think you are getting with 100mm bores? Man I find your car impressive. I am part of rexnet which is one of the biggest WRX club in Australia, alongside ozwrx and wrx club. I've seen many hectic wrx's but most of them use VF34's. Your GT35 setup is absolutely crazy, it revs so hard and fast. Props man. Keep it up. Might be time to get some forgies to accommodate all that power and revving. :)
One of the OEM pistons cracked, and I drove it for about 2k miles with the cracked piston, so they had to overbore to 100mm to clean up the cylinder walls. If I could do it over again I'd start with a new block and keep the 99.5mm bores. The OEM cylinder liners are thin and overboring makes them even thinner.

It's just an overboost CEL. I had set the overboost limit in the ECU to be just above the max value that the factory MAP sensor can read, since all that stuff is done on the UTEC with a 4.5bar map sensor. But with the cold temps, somehow the MAP sensor was able to read a little higher and set off the CEL. No big deal.
i hv tuned the ecu of the car and set the boost to 125kpa and no matter what i did the car keeps on throwing the overboost CEL (Turbocharger Wastegate Solenoid A Range/Performance) only when i WOT on a high gear with low rpm's......

Yes it's the original block that came with the car, bored to 100mm but still using the stock sleeves.

100mm hardly adds any displacement. Going from 99.5mm to 100mm pistons, you gain like 32cc in total.

boost cut from the factory is 17psi, there's a map in the ECU where you can change the boost limit.

It was ~500whp in 50-60 degree weather and it was 15 degrees out in this video, so a bit more. Straight pump 93, ~22psi.
I used FFS on the first pull but lifted on the 2-3 pull (you can hear the BOV).
