I've only heard Yossie pronounced 'YO-C' on Japanese TV except for the time they went to Florida when some kids called her 'YO-SU-E' which made her laugh.
I think stalking them constantly is quite creepy......

Actually, there are different variants:
Yossie/Yossi/Yossui
And honestly "Yoshi" is fine, because it could just be his own way of shortening "YOSHIzawa", which honestly can work.
