Donate to some charity you never heard of and feel good about yourself because you may have helped some kid he needed it. I'm not trying to save the world. I'm just trying keep those near to me safe. If you can't do atleast that, don't even bother with helping others halfway across the world.

You know the first rule of CPR? Make sure the area is safe before helping others. Frankly the rule is put in place to show that your life is more important than there life. Why might you ask? Because dyeing trying to save one person’s life is not worth the hundreds of lives you could save throughout your lifetime. You must first BE SELFISH and only think of your own future. If you don’t have a future, neither will the people you plan to help.
