  • hi. how many reps wd you say is for a women the best to get toned? i always read 6-15 reps, but david kirsch for example says a women has to do about 20 to 25 to get toned. what do you think? ty

  • @kingkako best thing I've found was bruce lees routine 7 slow reps, 7 normal reps, 7 fast reps at about 10% off your max weight.

    *To get toned you need to either do calisthenics or weight training.

    For calisthenics do bodyweight exercises like Pushups, pullups, hand stand pushups, crunches, and sprints and once strong enough add a weighted vest for desired size. For Weight training just keep lifting untill you get to a point where a body part is big enough and don't increase weight.*

    That is a gym myth. "I will do more reps with less weight." That shit don't work anything but your muscles.

    You need to lose enough body fat to show your muscles at its finest.

    If you are in shape, with a little extra fat. Do HIIT Cardio, 5 days a week for 30 mins.

    And obviously eat right. That is it!

  • Hey guys I am (Almost) a fat teen ager and I have been going to the gym for about one year now, personaly I think I am pretty strong and people say I am buff. This is the case: I want to get rid of my fat BUT still have the same energy as I would have with my current eating habits (I eat ALOT of Carbs and Protein, Junk food, Chips, Soda, Candy). Because I tried once to go ANY junk stuff at all, not even a piece, and I found out that I had 0% Energy for anything. Can I still have as much energy

  • @icklejoshie start with calisthenic exercises, in other words body weight workouts, everyday for like a month do that and u will start seeing some changes, pull ups, push ups, sit ups, running, jumping squats, all with perfect form and u will get ripped, if u want mass u need to do some weightlifting, but u said u wanna be toned so calisthenics are good and also some light weightlifting, the hardest part is staying consistent and actually doing it everyday, u need determination, good luck

    You can't get muscles definitions (fat burning) in the same time you build your muscles. The goal is to MAINTAIN muscles while you loose your fat.

    To get muscles definition, don't eat fast food sugar etc...

    eat less the night and more in the morning

    run 3/4 times a week during 30 minutes at low speed

    Eat a lot of protein during the day (fish, whey protein, not too much meat cuz it contains fat too.)

    For those who want to get big but u are slightly on the obese side, I suggest u get "toned" first before using supplements such as creatine. That way u get a large and yet ripped body instead of a large lump of meat!

  • No such thing a 'tone'. Muscles either get bigger or smaller. Tone is used to comfort women, cause when you mention muscle growth they freak out and they will look like the hulk. Being a trainer, if you want to maintain a woman as a client you tell them tone, when in fact they are building muscle. That's what weight resistence does.

  • they are good for you but make sure you do your research bc most of those shakes have a lot of sugar which is counter-productive. Do your research and stay away from high fat or high sugar shakes.
