Both Kwame Nkrumah, Patrice Lumumba and Sekou Ture are the true sons of Mama Africa because with their love, fight, courage, self-determination and their ideology of uniting African people, both of them never gave up on our fight to be freed and they made us so proud to be Africans.

It is not the Europeans we have to worry about. The Asians are a threat too. The Asian power structures like the Chinese care nothing about Africans and only want to beat the so-called west to the resources and wealth of Africa. The Chinese are getting rich over night in Africa selling them all kinds of things that Africans can produce for themselves. And they are pretending that they want to come to Africa to help improve the conditions in Africa. Its all a plot.
@lakmun3x3 You are repeating information from popular press in the West. The idea is for Africans to be fearful of dealing with China. What did Africans get with the Europeans? Now all of a sudden, the west wants to complain about China. You say that they are providing things that Africans can make for themselves. You don't understand much economics. Read up on "comparative advantage". America is using the same scare tactics with Chinese products and Japanese cars as they did in the 70s.
@chessdrummer I'm dealing with personal observation, information from my African brothers in the homeland and logic. Both the U.S. and China as well as all foreigners and non-Africans who want to exploit Africa for its resources and land are potential threats and enemies to my people. There are millions of Chinese in Africa and they are not respecting Africans in the homeland or China. Yet the Chinese are migrating into Africa for what purpose? Exploitation.
@cwjazz43 Well... I've been to Africa too... and to China. I've also seen Africans in China. So are Chinese migrating to the U.S. and Canada for exploitation? Why else would people migrate? Africans migrate all over the world to exploit opportunities of other countries. What you call exploitation is merely a business proposition. Africans can choose NOT to enter into these agreements. They are sovereign nations, yes? Can African nation control the flow of Chinese in their land. Yes!
@chessdrummer those are good points, however it doesn't change the fact both the US and China's interest in Africa is not in the best interest of Africa or Africans for that matter. Africa has what the world needs and it is the most resource abundant in the world. This should be obvious. Whether Africans back home realize that their strange bedfellows are not really in the interest of Africans is yet to be seen.
@cwjazz43 I do not put China in the same category as the U.S. ... totally different. I'm not sure why people keep comparing China to the U.S./Europe when the histories with Africa are totally opposite. Yes they are getting resources, but it is trade, not colonialism by the gun. Are you saying African leaders have no control over their resources? They are AGREEING to these arrangements. With Europe, they were FORCED. Dealing with China is far better... faaar better.
@chessdrummer an enemy is an enemy regardless of their approach. Either by colonialism by the gun or pretending to be a friend by so-called trade for a mutual benefit. China is over populated and running out of resources. My point is Africa needs to wake up before its too late. China is unstable and they will eat Africans of house and home. The Euros are really no different. Africa must look out for its own interest first.... continued...
@chessdrummer both China and the west have no concern for Africa or Africans other than for resources. Both are guilty of taking resources and then turn right around and sell products made with African resources back to Africans. They move in with their own people. Don't hire Africans nor teach them how to produce the very things they use African resources for. That's the tactics of an enemy. Why can't you see that?
@ cwjazz43... I see that, but your logic is totally flawed. You say China is pretending to be a friend. Do you have to be a friend to conduct trade? Are there any guns at the negotiations? Yes... China is running out of resources, so what must they do? Get the resources they need from those who have them. My point is African can control the negotiations. I don't believe just because a nation is after resources that it is necessarily sinister. How should African deal with their trading partners?
@chessdrummer you miss the point. Its a race for survival and the leadership in Africa is backwards. Africans have to wake up to what is going on as far as their welfare is concerned. Africa is still under control under post colonialism. Nothing has changed. The difference is strategy. If you don't think that foreign interest in African resources not to the benefit of Africans is sinister then Africans are finished. Africa's resources should be for Africa first not foreign interest.
I would agree that Africa's resources should be for Africa first. That goes without saying, but African (in her current state) cannot make use of those goods they export. Nigeria doesn't even have oil refineries! All the raw materials are useless unless you have the capacity to refine them into finished goods. Africa has a severe shortage of skilled labor. How does Africa make use of the wealth of resources without intellectual capital? We have too many talented Africans abroad and not at home.
I am much more inclined to support a detente with China (who helped Africa during their colonial wars), than Euro-America. You call China the enemy and you have not given any rationale for it. You say they are getting resources. That's what everyone does... it's called comparative advantage theory of trade. Africa is in control of her resources. If not, then that is another issue. Don't blame China for trying to find resources around the planet to fuel their growth.
@chessdrummer this should be obvious. The Chinese interest in U.S. and Canada is too different things. Exploiting opportunities and draining a country of resources is two different things. If you think building factories and harvesting resources from Africa like the Chinese is NOT a threat to African's interest then I don't know what to tell you. Africa is still being used and exploited and it's government puppets to foreign powers.
@cwjazz43... I understand the point about "exploitation", but the Chinese interest is the same elsewhere... to get resources they need for development. They are securing resources from Latin America and the Middle East as well. I don't agree with your contention that merely because a nation is seeking resources that it is necessarily a nefarious act. During colonialism we KNOW it was a nefarious act because the colonizers came in with guns and with brute force. Your analysis is anecdotal.
You say they are draining Africa of their resources. Question... what else would Africa do with the resources if they are not exporting them? Why have they not been doing it already? You trade with those who have the highest demand and for many resources, that is China. You determine the "terms of trade". China is only a threat if African leaders are not held accountable for the deals they sign. This notion that China is an enemy merely because they seeking resources is overly simplistic.
@chessdrummer that the point... it's really simple. Anyone who takes from you as long as you let them till there's nothing left is not your friend. That is the nature of a predator and the predator is enemy to its prey. It's a simple law of nature.
@cwjazz... You act as if China is invading and forcing Africa into these arrangements. Realize that all resources are finite. If you export you will have less... simple math. However, you speak under the assumption that China is getting something for nothing. What you are saying has absolutely nothing to do with how international economics work. Certainly terms of trade are not advantageous to Africa, but what else can Africa offer China but raw materials? African mantra is "trade, not aid."
The AU is no more than a front for the UN and the IMF with a black face. Its all a front and part of the plot with Africomm. The European powers and the US plan on re-colonizing Africa without going to war. The white man wants to take over Africa for its resources. They are trying to get the leaders of the African nations to cooperate with this plan. The white man never fully let go of their stronghold on Africa. They only removed the visible effects of colonization.
@peasah2005 I agree... the AU is a total waste of time. It's no more than the arm of the NWO in black face. It's the EU way of getting back into Africa without invading it. They will let the AU army do that for them.
When we had the OAU it was the best thing that we had.
This pathetic shamless so-called AU is disasterious and our leaders who are still deAfricanised need to be counter conductive by making us, go back to our real principals and that's organising Africans at all corners, properly and maturely.
Join a positive movement like the All African People Revolutionary Party...And become 1 of the many masses with a voice to become the changes that we want to see.
Africans we need to unite! what happen to the spirit of unity? we need to learn how to fight together as one. we need to stand up for our generation and future ones.
I agree with you 100%. The Europeans with the aid of the US can do this to dominate the world and yet many of us won't even get along because of tribalism and ethnic separatism.
MOBUTU is a devil who sold out to the French and betrayed his own countryman and brother Patrice Lumumba, so that the Europeans devils could continue to exploit the country for it's resources. He's a vicious dictator that will kill anyone who oppose him. He plotted the murder of Patrice Lumumba who was for freedom and liberation.
